Apple’s weather app crashed Thursday morning, marking the second incident in 48 hours.
Instead of showing live forecasts, the app displayed a blank screen with users’ selected locations.
While the System Status site for Apple indicates no issues, many users shared the outage on Twitter.
‘Apple weather app just gave up on life,’ one user tweeted to point out that the app had crashed Tuesday.
iPhone users had to pack for all weathers when they went out today, as the Apple Weather app went down again

Users shared their distaste about the outage on social media.
One tweeted a screenshot showing ‘Now weather data’ with the caption: ‘And to think this got fixed.’
And another person posted: ‘With Dark Sky gone and the Apple Weather app falling apart, where are yinz getting your weather??’
The previous outage hit Tuesday, but the Weather app was accessible using watchOS, according to 9to5Mac.
The precipitation, temperature and air quality maps still worked.
Other popular Apple services, like the App Store and Apple Music, still worked properly.

Users also took to Twitter to express their confusion over the outage.
One said: ‘What the heck? #AppleWeather is down again? What is happening? I can’t function without my weather.’
Another added: ‘Weather app is down so now I don’t know what to wear for tomorrow.’
The official Twitter page for Apple Support responded to disgruntled users, saying it is ‘investigating the issue’ and asking them to message any questions directly.
Some say Tuesday’s problems with the Weather app began just after the iOS 16.4 update, which came out last week.
The new operating system has many new features, including adding 21 new emojis to the keyboard.
This includes the highly anticipated pink heart icon, a shaking face (‘I’m shook’), a moose, stem ginger, the Wi-Fi symbol and a pair of maracas.

The Weather app issues also come just a week after Apple briefly relaunched the popular Dark Sky weather predicting app.
Dark Sky provided ‘hyperlocal’ weather forecasts by location, including minute-by-minute predictions and smartphone alerts.
The tech giant acquired the rival app in 2020, moved some of its features over to its own Weather app and then shut the original down at the start of this year.
The copied features included lightning forecasts, 10-day forecasts and severe weather alerts, which were installed as part of the iOS 16 update.
But the Dark Sky app came back to life temporarily in an apparent server error on Apple’s end last week, according to 9to5Mac.
