This adage attributed to Maya Angelou is one that I’ve followed for years in my own life. What does it mean? It means to pay attention. A person or entity’s actions will always say more about what they stand for than their words. Words are cheap. In this age of political and economic doublespeak that would make George Orwell stand up and take notice, actions are king. Currently, there is a buzz in the conservative community that is rising to a deafening crescendo. Citizen journalists have to do the work of the complicit “mockingbird” media where election fraud allegations are concerned.
We’re watching the Twitter and Parler pages of such legal heavyweights as Sidney Powell, Rudy Guiliani, Jenna Ellis, and L. Lin Wood, all aligned with President Trump’s legal defense. We’re reading The Gateway Pundit, The Epoch Times, and other honest journalism while continuing to share what we’re seeing and hearing. And what we’re seeing is cataclysmic, especially regarding Dominion Voting Systems. At this point, Dominion’s tentacles are tightly wrapped around and deeply enmeshed in every facet of the fraud alleged to have occurred in the 2020 election.
So who or what is Dominion?
According to their own website, they are “a leading supplier of election technology across the U.S., Canada and globally,” founded in 2003. The “Dominion Secure” heading that falls under the “About” section of their website offers an impressive list of security features, including “comprehensive, non-alterable audit logs” and “full auditing capabilities.” They state that they partner with the Election Security Commission, the Department of Homeland Security and the Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency to ensure safe and secure elections. At the moment, the entire front page of their website is titled, “Setting the Record Straight: Facts and Rumors.” It runs through all of the allegations made against them and “categorically denies” each and every one. Unfortunately, most of their claims don’t hold up to even the most basic of internet searches.
Simply searching “Dominion Voting Systems Security Issues” brings forth a flood of information. Many IT experts have raised concerns over the software, stating that it appears to be designed with “many vulnerabilities that would allow nefarious forces to easily manipulate election results with the click of a few buttons.” Even Democrats such as Sen. Amy Klobuchar, Sen. Elizabeth Warren, Sen. Ron Wyden, and Rep. Mark Pocan raised concerns over the system in 2019. In their letter to a Dominion Investor, they stated that “secretive and ‘trouble-plagued companies,’ owned by private equity firms and responsible for manufacturing and maintaining voting machines and other election administration equipment, ‘have long skimped on security in favor of convenience,’ leaving voting systems across the country ‘prone to security problems.'” Heady stuff coming from the same people telling us that the 2020 election was the safest and most secure in history.

Similarly, in August of 2019, NBC News ran a report featuring their technology correspondent Jacob Ward. Ward’s report followed DEFCON, the world’s largest underground hacking convention held in Las Vegas, Nevada, specifically the “Voting Village” included therein. In it, he explained just how “easy it is for hackers to penetrate and manipulate voting machines made by top companies such as Election Systems & Software, DominionVotingSystems, and Hart Intercivic.” Apparently, because the companies refused to supply the convention with machines to field test, the hackers turned to eBay to obtain them. While currently, there are no Dominion machines listed on eBay, there are tabulation machines made by ESS (Election Systems & Software) as well as ballot marking devices. The NBC report also stated that the hackers showed how quickly they could get into the machines, especially with additional time because many “are connected to the Web,” another claim denied by Dominion.
Furthermore, The Center Square reported via Alpha News, “Dominion Voting Systems…was rejected three times by data communications experts from the Texas Secretary of State and Attorney General’s Office for failing to meet basic security standards.” I find this very interesting because, according to a map (once more on Dominion’s own website), their voting systems *are* used in Texas.
Not according to Texas Lt. Gov. Dan Patrick.
Patrick appeared on Sean Hannity’s show in the wake of the November 3rd election and explained that every single one of the “six experts in electronic data, communications systems, and election law warned, ‘Do not buy this system,'” he then stated unequivocally “They found out that they were fragile—they were error-prone—they did not meet our standards—they changed ballots—people could vote, and their vote wouldn’t be counted.” He followed up with the explosive claim that “one of our experts took their cell phone, hooked it up to a USB port, and were [sic] able to download all of the information from that voting machine into their cell phone.” Again, this is just a sampling of the concerns that have been raised about Dominion and doesn’t even touch on the alleged connections to Venezuelan dictators or foreign servers. The information currently coming to light, which could fill entire volumes, is bewildering at best and downright treacherous at worst.
Is Dominion a legitimately non-partisan company trying to “provide the highest level of election support services available,” or are they a corrupt system rigging elections in favor of the highest bidder? I honestly don’t know. While skeptical, I’m reserving judgment until all of the information held by Powell, Giuliani, and the rest of Trump’s legal team comes out. However, I find it interesting that their equipment is used in all six (Nevada, Arizona, Georgia, Pennsylvania, Michigan, and Wisconsin) of the most hotly contested states in the 2020 election. It’s also used in states that we’re told “always” go blue (California, Washington, New York, New Jersey, and Massachusetts).
Is that alone reason to believe that they’re involved in election fraud? No, of course not. It’s simply a thought-provoking coincidence…as is the fact that “Dominion” as defined by Merriam Webster is “supreme authority” and “control or the exercise of control” by The American Heritage Dictionary. If people and entities always tell us who they are (as Maya Angelou would say), then what pray tell is Dominion trying to tell us?
