President Joe Biden fell to the ground during Thursday’s U.S. Air Force Academy commencement ceremony.
The White House said that the president had tripped over a sandbag and that he did not obtain any injuries.

“He’s fine. There was a sandbag on stage while he was shaking hands,” White House communications director Ben LaBolt wrote in a tweet.

A whopping 82 percent of Americans have said that they are concerned about Biden’s “health and mental acuity,” according to a Yahoo News/YouGov poll published in May. The pollsters found that 64 percent of Americans believe Biden is “too old.” This figure includes 48 percent of Democrats and 69 percent of independents.
Two years ago, Biden infamously fell while boarding Air Force One at Joint Base Andrews.

At the time, the White House blamed the fall on the stairs on the wind.
“It’s pretty windy outside, it’s very windy. I almost fell coming up the steps myself. He is doing 100% fine,” White House press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre said at the time.
