Tom Sandoval’s affair with Raquel Leviss has made him say that troublesome four-letter word, according to his best pal, Tom Schwartz.
The “Vanderpump Rules” star spoke candidly of his pal’s months-long affair, dubbed “Scandoval,” saying he’s actually “in love” with his co-star Leviss.
“In January, Tom came to me … and he told me that he was in love with Raquel. I was flabbergasted,” Schwartz told Andy Cohen during Wednesday night’s episode of “Watch What Happens Live.”
After hearing news of Sandoval’s affair, which had been going on for six months behind Ariana Madix’s back, Schwartz said his pal’s cheating became “an open secret.”
“After that, I mean, Tom kind of got flagrant — he was brazen,” he said.
The Bravolebrity then claimed Sandoval and Leviss’ affair started when they had a one-night stand in August 2022, but added their romance developed and turned into an “emotional affair” in the fall.
“Tom was having, like, a midlife crisis,” Schwartz explained. “I learned in August, in late August about the affair, the one-night stand — allegedly.”
“From my point of view, it became, like, an emotional affair — which is still inappropriate,” he added.
After Cohen pressed Schwartz on when he actually found out about the affair, the Schwartz & Sandy’s Lounge co-owner insisted he didn’t know it was a full-blown affair until January this year.
And when asked why he didn’t tell Madix about the affair after she had been “such a good” friend to him in the past, Schwartz blamed Sandoval for feeding him the “narrative that he has broken up with Ariana, or attempted to multiple times — many, many times. And he’s not happy, they’re not healthy, they’re not intimate, blah blah blah.”
“He did a good job of placating me. … And he told me he has a game plan, he’s gonna do the right thing — and then he just kind of continued to kept procrastinate,” Schwartz added.
“I’m more upset with Sandoval because he took advantage of my kindness. And he put a lot of people, not just myself, in very compromising situations where our integrity was at stake.”

Later on, Schwartz said Sandoval is “addicted” to Leviss, adding that the 28-year-old is his “heroin.”
Schwartz went on to claim that, because his BFF has ADHD, he “became obsessed” with Leviss.
“He’s addicted,” he added. “It’s an infatuation of infatuations.”
Schwartz’s confession comes one month after Madix dumped Sandoval when she discovered a sexually explicit video of Leviss, 28, on his phone.
Madix and Sandoval had been dating for almost 10 years and even owned a home and a dog together — which she will reportedly be keeping.
“Vanderpump Rules” airs Wednesdays at 9 p.m. ET on Bravo.
