She didn’t exactly nail it.
An Argentinian woman almost lost her finger after her fake nail became caught inside the top of a toilet.
Manuela Ferrario, 26, revealed that she had just had a manicure and was taking extra care not to ruin her fresh nails when she accidentally lodged one into the appliance’s dual flush button.
The blond posted a video on Instagram earlier this month showing the extreme effort emergency crews went to in order to safely remove her finger.
“POV: You do your nails and you don’t want them to break,” Ferrario captioned the clip, which has gained more than 67,000 likes.
In the video, the Argentinean is seen surrounded by people wielding pliers and various other tools to help with the situation.
“If it doesn’t come out, we’ll cut off the finger. What do you think?” laughed someone off-camera.
Thankfully for Ferrario, she managed to be separated from the toilet top with the help of soap and warm water — and her nail survived intact.
Shortly before the end of the clip, Ferrario shows her viewers her finger which is bright red after being stuck in the mechanism.

Hundreds of humored viewers took to the comments section beneath the video, with a surprising number of people saying they had also experienced the same thing.
“It happened to me but I saved myself quickly with the help of my dad,” one wrote.
“The same thing happened to me, they broke the button with a hot knife and it took four people,” a second declared.
Meanwhile, a host of others poked fun at the situation.

“It’s because of these accidents that girls accompany each other to bathrooms, end of the mystery!” one joked.
“She almost lost her finger, but at least the nail was still intact,” another manicure-minded viewer quipped.
