Matt Rife’s star is on the rise.
The comedian, whose career skyrocketed thanks to TikTok, has also become renowned for romancing a slew of famous women.
From his brief flings with Lucy Hale and Kate Beckinsale to his relationship with actress Jessica Lord, here’s everything you need to know about Rife’s dating life.
Kate Beckinsale
The “Wild ‘n Out” alum briefly dated Beckinsale in 2017 when she was 43 and he was 21.
Little was known about their relationship at the time, however Rife told Pete Davidson to “run” in 2019 when the “Saturday Night Live” alum was dating the British actress.
After offering advice to his buddy, Rife told TMZ that his relationship with Beckinsale was “complicated, for sure.”
“A lot of ups and downs,” he added.
“I’m hoping that they both found … or are getting out of it whatever they want to get out of it,” Rife said of Beckinsale and Davidson, who eventually called it quits in April 2019.
“Enjoy it while you can. I hope they’re both happy. I hope that it can build to where it’s an established good relationship.”
Before leaving the TMZ camera crew, Rife told Davidson to “be careful” and confirmed he would “never” rekindle a romance with the “Underworld” star.
Lucy Hale
After remaining quiet about his dating life for the next few years, Page Six exclusively revealed the hunky stand-up comic had a fling with “Pretty Little Liars” star Lucy Hale in early 2023.
Though he never spoke out about the romance, Rife discussed dating during an interview with GQ that April.
“I kind of hate dating. I know I am just in my mid-to-late 20s, but still, I do want a wife and a family and a prominent home life that makes me feel comfortable, safe, and is my peace,” he explained.
“But when I’m touring six days a week, 52 weeks out of the year, it’s incredibly hard to maintain a relationship.”
Rife concluded, “I do meet women who are fantastic human beings that I’m like, ‘Wow, you’re such a lovely person. You’re beautiful. You’re sweet, you’re kind, you’d be an excellent mother and excellent wife, excellent girlfriend, you check all these boxes, but I might not be in a position right now to fulfill your needs as a responsible boyfriend.’”
Hale has never addressed the report.
Jessica Lord
Page Six was also the first to report that Rife started romancing another actress — but this time, it’s pretty serious.
In July 2023, sources told us Rife was spending all of his downtime with Lord, “even if it takes long car rides for just a short period of time together.”
He eventually confirmed his relationship with the “Find Me in Paris” star in October 2023.
“It’s an early relationship, about four or five months, but we’ve known each other for about a year and a half,” Rife said on the “2 Bears, 1 Cave” podcast.
“She’s very smart. I love that. She’s never been insecure about the amount of attention that I get.” he gushed, explaining how supportive Lord is of his career.
“She sees it the way I see it … a girl will yell out in the middle of a show like ‘F–k me!’ or something wild … and a lot of girls would be like, ‘You have girls yelling out to you in the middle of the show?’”
Rife went on, “I get off stage, she goes, ‘What the f–k’s that girl’s problem? That’s so annoying, you’re in the middle of trying out this new bit that I know you’ve been working so hard for, [and] now she ruined the entire f—king thing.’”
The pair made their red carpet debut in November 2023 at the Forbes Top Creators List Launch in New York City.
