The Giants didn’t want to wait until pick No. 89 for their next selection.
So they traded up to No. 73 and selected Tennessee wide receiver Jalin Hyatt, a 6-foot, 180-pound wideout who exploded for 1,267 yards and 15 touchdowns in 2022.

Hyatt gives the Giants a much-needed addition to their receiver room, alongside others such Isaiah Hodgins, Parris Campbell, Wan’Dale Robinson and Darius Slayton.
The Giants also added another pass-catcher for Daniel Jones — who just signed a new deal to remain with the team — earlier in the offseason by trading for Raiders tight end Darren Waller.
