J6 Patriot and America First candidate for Congress in West Virginia’s 1st District, Derrick Evans, is calling on West Virginia and other red states to spring into action, and offer protection and sanctuary to President Trump, as he faces yet another round of political persecution in the state of Georgia, where a left-wing DA has charged him under the RICO Act for challenging the 2020 Presidential Election.
President Trump and 18 co-defendants have been indicted in Fulton County, Georgia under the Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organizations Act (RICO), which was created to go after mob bosses and organized crime rings before the Democrats seized upon RICO as a means to attack their political opponents. While it’s rather difficult for prosecutors to win a conviction in federal RICO cases, legal experts say that under Georgia’s state-level version of the law, a conviction is much easier to come by, especially when a Republican President is up against a deep blue jury.

Considering America’s federalist system of government, which still exists despite being weakened by an ever-growing centralized regime in Washington, DC, the state of West Virginia could feasibly invite President Trump to take up residence there.
If they did, they could also feasibly ignore extradition requests from other states, like Georgia, where politically-motivated leftists are using their legal powers in an attempt to throw the 45th President and leading 2024 presidential candidate in prison, in a naked effort to stop Trump’s campaign.
Derrick Evans, a former J6 political prisoner who was a member of West Virginia’s House of Delegates when he was arrested for entering the Capitol building through an open door and positively interacting with Capitol Police during the January 6th protests, is calling on West Virginia to do just that.
“If any state wants to imprison President Trump then I’m calling on West Virginia and other red states to grant protection and sanctuary,” Evans wrote in a Tweet.

The calls for West Virginia to offer sanctuary to President Trump don’t mark the first time that Derrick Evans has weighed in on the political persecution of President Trump and on how his home state can help even the scales.
Just over a week ago, as Jack Smith’s federal indictment against President Trump began to play out in Washington, DC, Evans called on Joe Biden’s DOJ to move the “Stalinist show trial” to West Virginia, where he believes that President Trump can receive a fair trial by a jury of everyday Americans – instead of facing down hostile and federally-tied jurors in Washington, DC, which is perhaps the most anti-Trump city in America, where over 90% of residents vote Democrat.
