The CEO of Anheuser-Busch has issued a public apology after the beer-making giant lost a whopping $5 billion in just a two-week period, the result of a massive backlash against Bud Light’s sponsorship of Dylan Mulvaney, a man who claims to be a woman.
Anheuser-Busch CEO Brendan Whitworth issued the public apology amidst a massive controversy that’s seen his company lose more than $5 billion dollars in just two weeks, after Bud Light’s VP of Marketing, Alissa Heinerscheid, made the executive decision to partner with Dylan Mulvaney. Mulvaney is a transgender internet figure whose videos are being peddled to children and who even took a trip to the Biden White House, to meet with Biden personally and show off the results of his female hormone intake.
Mulvaney, who previously tried to break through into the entertainment industry as a “cis” male, gained viral attention when he began making videos about his transition into “girlhood,” and has also landed a sponsorship from Nike, for which he markets female athletic apparel, as well as one with Kate Spade.
In a video explaining why she partnered with Mulvaney, Heinerscheid openly admitted that she did so to lash out against the brand’s own customer base, which she claims is “fratty and out of touch.”
Notably, Heinersheid’s decision to partner with Mulvaney came in the immediate aftermath of the Nashville transgender terror attack, in which 6 Christians, including 3 children, were targetted and slaughtered by a transgender militant. Much like Bud Light, in the aftermath of the attack, a number of corporations and politicians have doubled and tripled down on their support of the deadly transgender movement.

Though Whitworth’s statement didn’t mention the Mulvaney controversy by name, the Anheuser-Busch CEO was quite obviously begging his customers for forgiveness on the issue, as beer consumers and bars all over the country have vowed to boycott Bud Light and other Anheuser-Busch products. In the statement, Whitworth insisted that he holds traditional American values.
“As the CEO of a company founded in America’s heartland more than 165 years ago, I am responsible for ensuring every consumer feels proud of the beer we brew,” wrote Whitworth in his public statement.
“We never intended to be part of a discussion that divides people,” Whitworth’s statement went on. “We are in the business of bringing people together over a beer.”
“My time serving this country taught me the importance of accountability and the values upon which America was founded: freedom, hard work, and respect for one another. As CEO of Anheuser-Busch, I am focused on building and protecting our remarkable history and heritage.”
“Moving forward, I will continue working tirelessly to bring great beers to consumers across our nation,” Whitworth concluded.
