The stranger who allegedly crept into a sleeping Brooklyn woman’s apartment, sexually assaulted her and made off with her wallet was busted this week, cops said.
Jayquan Martinez, 27, entered through the door of the 43-year-old woman’s home at Middagh and Henry streets in Brooklyn Heights as she slept just before 2 a.m. May 12, police said.
He molested her — and then fled with her wallet, which held an unspecified amount of cash and credit cards, cops said.
Martinez was arrested Thursday afternoon and charged with burglary, attempted criminal sexual act, criminal possession of stolen property and attempted sexual misconduct, authorities said.
He also faces a child endangerment charge, because the victim’s 13-year-old son was home at the time of the incident, police said. The boy was not hurt.
Martinez has previously been arrested for burglary, criminal trespass and petit larceny, police said.
