HENRYETTA Okla. (TCD) — Investigators discovered seven deceased people on a property in rural Okmulgee County while searching for two missing teens who were believed to have been traveling with a registered sex offender.
On Monday, May 1, the Oklahoma Highway Patrol released an endangered missing advisory for 14-year-old Ivy Webster, 16-year-old Brittany Brewer, and 39-year-old Jesse McFadden. Webster and Brewer were reportedly last seen May 1 at 12:22 a.m. at a residence in Henryetta and were likely traveling in a Chevy Avalanche pickup truck with McFadden.
The same day, Okmulgee County Sheriff Eddy Rice confirmed officials located seven bodies at 3 p.m. and were in the process of positively identifying the victims. Rice did not confirm or deny that Webster, Brewer, and McFadden were found deceased, but he said investigators are “believed to have found everything we were seeking this morning.”
According to the Tulsa World, all the bodies were located on a property where McFadden lived. McFadden was reportedly scheduled to head to trial Monday, May 1, for soliciting sexual conduct/communication with a minor and child pornography possession.
The Associated Press reports 59-year-old Janette Mayo confirmed the other four victims included her daughter, 35-year-old Holly Guess, and grandchildren, 17-year-old Rylee Elizabeth Allen, 15-year-old Michael James Mayo, and 13-year-old Tiffany Dore Guess. Tiffany Guess was reportedly good friends with Webster and Brewer.
Janette Mayo told The Associated Press her family members were shot to death, though Sheriff Rice did not comment.
Oklahoma Department of Corrections records show McFadden served nearly 20 years in prison for rape and grand larceny.
According to Mayo, McFadden told Holly Guess that his criminal past “was all just a huge mistake.”
Mayo said, “He was very demure. He was very standoffish, generally very quiet, but he kept my daughter and the kids basically under lock and key. He had to know where they were at all times, which sent red flags up.”
According to The Oklahoman, McFadden and Holly Guess were married, and he was Tiffany Guess’ stepfather.
