GREENSBORO, N.C. (TCD) — Deputies have arrested a 46-year-old man on suspicion of killing his 73-year-old mother, who was found dead this week.
According to a news release from the Guilford County Sheriff’s Office, on Tuesday, May 23, at around 8:09 p.m., deputies responded to a report of a homicide on Steeple Chase Road and located 73-year-old Sherry Bradley deceased from multiple gunshot wounds.
The Sheriff’s Office identified the suspect as the victim’s son, Adam Bradley.
Deputies arrested Bradley, and he was booked into the Guilford County Detention Center on a charge of first-degree murder. He remains held without bond.
According to the Sheriff’s Office, officials believe the shooting was an isolated event. The investigation is ongoing.
The Greensboro Police Department and the Randolph County Sheriff’s Office assisted with Bradley’s arrest.
