CHESTER COUNTY, Pa. (TCD) – “Jackass” star Brandon “Bam” Margera turned himself in to police after allegedly assaulting and threatening to kill his brother this week.
According to the Pennsylvania State Police, on the morning of Thursday, April 27, Margera went to the Avondale Station, where he was fingerprinted, photographed, and arraigned in district court.
On April 23, Margera reportedly got into a physical fight with his brother Jesse Margera, a drummer for the band CKY. Bam Margera then fled the scene on foot into a dense wooded area before state police arrived.
Jesse Margera told officials he woke up to his brother kicking and banging on his locked bedroom door. Jesse then exited his bedroom and allegedly found a note that read, “If you even f–king think of calling the police on me, I will officially f–k you up,” signed “Bam.”
Jesse went into the kitchen and reportedly found his brother urinating in the sink. Bam allegedly became aggressive and began attacking Jesse, punching and striking him. Jesse sustained an abrasion/laceration to his left ear and an abrasion on his right bicep as a result.
Bam allegedly threatened to kill his brother and three others in the house as well.
According to WGAL-TV, Bam released a statement after turning himself in that read, “I just got out of the courthouse with my lawyers. Everything went great, and the false accusations of what my brother says are not true, and he will be sued for defamation as well as being evicted from castle bam sooner than later. The reason this happened is because I read his phone saying he wants me back in California, and he wants to find a way to 302 me. F–k him.”
In Pennsylvania, a “302” is an application for involuntary commitment to a psychiatric facility.
Bam faces charges of simple assault, harassment, and terroristic threats with the intent to terrorize another. State police said Bam’s bail was set at $50,000, and he is scheduled to appear in court for a preliminary hearing on May 25.
