Police were searching for a woman who allegedly shoved a 67-year-old straphanger down the stairs at a Queens subway station Sunday, leaving the victim with injuries to her head and elbow.
Officers from the 110th Precinct responded to the Jackson Heights–Roosevelt Avenue/74th Street station at about 6:45 a.m. after a 911 call, a police spokesperson said.
There they found the unidentified victim, who had hurt her head and right elbow in the fall.

Authorities brought her to NYC Health +Â Hospitals/Elmhurst, where she was treated. Police said she was in stable condition.
There have been no arrests, and police said they are still investigating.
The motive for the shoving remains unclear. Cops did not have a description of the suspect, saying only that the alleged attacker is a woman.
