Disturbing video shows the moment a machete-wielding Manhattan college professor menacingly chased a New York Post reporter and photographer down the street Tuesday.
Veteran scribe Reuven Fenton and a photographer had just left Shellyne Rodriguez’s Bronx apartment building — where she held the machete to the reporter’s neck after he knocked on her door to ask her about a viral video in which she curses out anti-abortion students.
She then followed The Post journalists out into the street, machete in hand, dashcam footage shows.
When the photographer snaps a picture of the now-former Hunter College art professor approaching them, she starts chasing after him down the sidewalk, forcing him to run into the middle of a busy roadway as traffic passes by, according to the video.
“If I see you on this block one more f–king time, you’re gonna …!” Rodriguez yelled at them.
“Get the f–k off the block! Get the f–k out of here, yo!”
She also kicked the reporter in the shins as he tried to get in his car.
Moments earlier, Rodriguez had held the machete to Fenton’s neck and threatened to “chop” him up after he knocked on her apartment door.
“Get the f–k away from my door, or I’m gonna chop you up with this machete!” the unhinged ex-professor shouted from behind her door after Fenton identified himself.
Seconds later, she thrust open the door and held the weapon to the reporter’s throat.
“Get the f–k away from my door!” she yelled repeatedly before then slamming the door.
The two Post employees immediately left the building, and she followed.
Hours after the terrifying incident, Rodriguez was fired from Hunter College, the Manhattan school confirmed.
“Rodriguez has been relieved of her duties at Hunter College effective immediately and will not be returning to teach at the school,” school spokesman Vince Dimiceli told The Post.
Rodriguez was caught on camera earlier this month hurling expletives at pro-life students who had set up a table on the college campus. She threw their pamphlets around and accused them of “triggering” her students.
“You’re not educating s–t. This is f–king propaganda,” she told the students May 2, according to footage posted to Twitter by Students for Life of America.
“What are you going to do, like, anti-trans next?” the prof raged.
Rodriguez claimed their demonstration was “violent,” yelling at the male student behind the table that he wasn’t sorry “because you can’t even have a f–king baby,” the video shows.
She then pushed the anti-abortion materials off the table toward the students while exclaiming “f–k this s–t” and walked off, according to the footage.
The Post has also learned that Rodriguez is suing the NYPD, claiming officers abused her when she was arrested in The Bronx during a protest over the murder of George Floyd in June 2020.
Rodriguez, who is the lead plaintiff in the lawsuit, claims she suffered nerve damage from being zip-tied when she was nabbed and put in a prisoner van with 14 other protesters.
The lawsuit claims Rodriguez was attacked by cops while trying to leave the protest and suffered nerve damage from being zip-tied to tight when police put her in a prisoner van.
Officers allegedly pulled her hair, shoved her face into a gate and repeatedly punched her in the stomach, according to court filings.
The charges against Rodriguez from the protest were later dismissed in September 2020, the suit says.
