‘You look like a flamingo’: Bradley Cooper’s mother schools him as he plays T-Mobile employee in hilarious Super Bowl commercial

Bradley Cooper and his mom have shared many a red carpet over the years, but now they’re taking their relationship to a new level, starring in a hilarious Super Bowl commercial together.

An announcer begins the spot by telling the audience, ‘To tell you about the incredible things about T-Mobile, we tried to make a commercial with Bradley Cooper and his mother.  

The A Star is Born star and director donned a store uniform, consisting of a bright pink company T-shirt, black pants and sneakers.

While pretending to be an employee he walks up to his mom, Gloria Campano, 64, who is supposed to be portraying a customer. 

‘Hi, how can I help you?’ asks the Nightmare Alley star, sticking to the script.  Gloria veers away from the written word and tells him ‘I don’t like the way you look.’

She later tells him ‘You look like a flamingo in this.’

Gloria looks stylish in a black top and pants with a sheer black and tan overshirt under a floral burgundy jacket. Her blonde hair is styled in a long bob and she wore glasses and stacked turquoise necklaces  

Bradley gives her some personal coaching as they sit and he tried not to laugh  while helping her say ‘America’s largest 5G network’ after she had trouble with her lines. 

Then, when Gloria is having difficulty acting natural while reading a teleprompter, you can hear the The Mule actor off camera telling her, ‘mom, talk to me. Don’t worry about this.’

‘Well, I have one eye there (referring to the teleprompter) and one eye on you,’ she explained.

After more antics and gaffs, the proud mom gave a little constructive criticism to her son, telling him,’ Smile, you look like a clam.’

‘Mom,’ the Limitless star responded, ‘I think I know what I’m doing. I’ve been nominated nine times.’ 

‘Yeah’ she clapped back, ‘but you never won any.’ 

As the commercial ends, both put their arms around the other and walk out of the soundstage with Bradley telling mom, ‘You did so well.’
