Maralee Nichols shared a precious snap of the baby boy she shares with Tristan Thompson as the NBA player celebrated his 32nd birthday.
In the photo, Maralee smiled peacefully as she gently held her one-year-old child Theo with her eyes closed.
The personal trainer was the picture of contentment as she cuddled her adorable child and rested against a plush grey pillow.
Her silky black locks framed her beautifully done up face, which contained full curled lashes and shimmering pink blush.
The image was shared to her Instagram Stories on Monday as Khloe Kardashian, who shares two children with Tristan, faced backlash for calling Tristan the ‘best father’ despite her cheating ex allegedly shunning Theo following an illicit hotel fling.

The outcry stemmed from The Kardashian’s star, 38, wishing the NBA player a happy 32nd birthday and sharing photos that displayed their newborn son’s face for the very first time.
Kardashian bestowed the title of ‘best father’ on Tristan as she shared snaps of him doting on their two children – daughter True, four, and the baby boy whose name they have yet to reveal.
Khloe and Tristan conceived their newest addition via a surrogate, but they broke up before he was born after it was revealed that Tristan had fathered a baby boy named Theo with another woman, Maralee Nichols, 31.
The NBA star’s relationship with Theo appears to be nonexistent, prompting Twitter to go nuclear at Kardashian and ask: ‘Good father? What about little Theo?’
One twitter user captioned the comical expression of a bewildered toddler with: ‘@khloekardashian how can Tristan be the best father if he has abandoned one of his children?!’
Another critic compared the former couple’s cringeworthy relationship history to ‘humiliation kink,’ while someone else chimed in with: ‘Not @khloekardashian calling Tristan best dad [laughing emoji] the world really coming to an end.’
One troll did offer the reality star some helpful advice, tweeting: ‘Khloe Kardashian. You better turn them comments off on your Insta post about Tristan being a good dad. You forgot about that new baby huh!!?? He hasn’t even met that one!!
Khloe took that bit of advice and turned off her Instagram comments, but the negative reactions kept spreading across Twitter: ‘@khloekardashian Tristan isn’t a good father. He has another kid that he hasn’t even met yet. Please be foreal. You’re out of touch.’

Khloe’s controversial post appeared to allude to Tristan’s various infidelities, as Khloe described hoping that he would continue to ‘crave change, healing and transformation’ in the future.
She also referenced his late mother Andrea Thompson, who recently passed from a heart attack. ‘Continue to Make your soul and your mommy proud,’ Khloe posted.

Unbeknownst to Khloe, Tristan had impregnated Maralee in March 2021 and he was informed of her pregnancy as early as July 2021.
Despite knowing he had a baby on the way with another woman, Tristan kept the news from Khloe and encouraged her to continue on with their surrogacy journey.
An embryo transfer was successfully completed in November 2021, just one week before DailyMail.com would exclusively reveal that Tristan was expecting a child with Maralee – who gave birth to Theo in December 2021
Though he initially denied being the child’s father, Tristan took to Instagram in January 2022 to confirm that he’d taken a paternity and was in fact Theo’s dad. He also stated that he planned ‘amicably’ co-parent with Maralee.
Tristan issued an apology to Khloe, whom he has cheated on numerous times in the past, including while she was pregnant with their daughter True in 2018.
The second season of The Kardashians began with Khloe welcoming her second child with Tristan via surrogate, though it was revealed in the second episode that the premiere episode was actually filmed in August 2022 while the rest of the season takes place several months earlier.

Khloe and Tristan began dating in 2016 while his ex-girlfriend Jordan Craig was pregnant with their now five-year-old son Prince. His public cheating scandals initially broke just days before Kardashian welcomed their first child together, daughter True Thompson, in 2018.
Despite the public cheating, the couple reconciled and stayed together, until their split in February 2019 after he was seen kissing Kylie Jenner’s then-BFF Jordyn Woods.
To fans’ dismay, Khloe got back together with the athlete sometime during the COVID-19 pandemic while quarantining at Khloe’s Hidden Hills home. They have since broken up following the paternity scandal.
