The Hunger Games: The Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes posters revealed: Viola Davis, Euphoria star Hunter Schafer and Snow White’s Rachel Zegler unveil character looks
The studio behind the highly-anticipated film The Hunger Games: The Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes has released the first look at the looks of the main characters.
The Lionsgate Films shared brand new posts of the film series on Wednesday, featuring Viola Davis, 58, Hunter Schafer, 24, and Rachel Zegler, 22.
EGOT winner Viola, who plays Dr. Volumnia Gaul, looked dramatically evil in a flowing red, white and tan ombre, long-sleeved dress with blood red gloves.
Her blue contact lenses gave her an ominous air and her hair was styled in a large afro that was shot through with grey hair.
A snake was wrapped around her arm and she stared forthrightly into the camera with a gleam in her eyes.

Euphoria’s Schafer, meanwhile looked sweeter in a pink satin jacket featuring pointy, padded shoulders with a matching belt at her slim waistline.
The jacket had a peplum with a bit of white Accordion-pleated chiffon peaking out from the bottom of the jacket.
The model also wore a matching pink satin pencil skirt in her exclusive preview poster for her role as Tigris Snow.
The Snow White star looked like she was reprising her role as the queen of the Seven Dwarfs in her look.
She wore a dress with a corset-style bodice featuring a vine with pink and blue flowers on it and a white shirt with long, puffy sleeves under it.
The skirt of the dress looked like fire with its pink, yellow and orange ombre design for the character of Lucy Gray Baird.
A poster was also released for the role of the young Coriolanus Snow, which is played in the prequel by Tom Blyth, 28.
The role was originated by Donald Sutherland in the first film in the series in 2012.
The Billy the Kid actor wore a white dress shirt with vertical stripes on the torso with a vest featuring a plunging, rounded neckline that gave it an old time feel.
A golden snake wrapped around one arm and hissed at a golden bird.
