Taylor Swift performs Cowboy Like Me for the first time with Mumford & Sons lead singer Marcus Mumford during her Eras Tour stop in Las Vegas

Taylor Swift brought out surprise guest Marcus Mumford while performing in Las Vegas on Saturday night. 

The 33-year-old songstress performed Cowboy Like Me — from her Evermore album — live for the very first time with the Mumford & Sons lead singer, 36, during the latest stop in her Eras Tour.

The 11-time Grammy winner wowed her fans as she returned to Allegiant Stadium — home to the Las Vegas Raiders — for her second concert in Sin City.

The day before, she showed off a number of dazzling ensembles and, once again, put on a show-stopping performance for the Nevada stop in her long-awaited tour.

While this was the first time the hitmaker has performed the track live, Mumford has played their collaborative song many times at his solo concerts. 

On Saturday, Swift put on an elegant display in a stunning emerald green gown with ruffles cascading all the way down the floor-sweeping skirt.

As she spoke to the fan-filled arena, she announced that she would be welcoming a special guest on stage.

Previously, she had told concertgoers about her ‘no guests’ rule during her first concert at the same venue.

‘Las Vegas, Nevada, you are so lucky, because we do have a special guest with us tonight,’ Swift said, addressing her audience.

After introducing the folk musician, she was met with a roar of applause as she asked: ‘Would you sing Cowboy Like Me with me?’

The two talented musicians then started playing their guitars and put on a charming performance of the track. 

The song — featured on her ninth studio album Evermore — featured Mumford on the background vocals. Cowboy Like Me was written by Swift herself and The National’s Aaron Dressner.

On Instagram, Mumford shared photos as well as a clip of their joint performance on stage and captioned the post with a lyric from the song: ‘You’re a bandit like me’.

At the time of the album’s release in 2020, fans speculated that the male singer heard on Cowboy Like Me was Swift’s boyfriend, Joe Alwyn, 32.

Her loyal fanbase had previously uncovered that the Conversations With Friends actor had assisted in penning a number of songs on her Folklore and Evermore albums under the pseudonym William Bowery.

Swift and Alwyn have been dating for around six years since they started dating in 2016 after previously meeting at the Met Gala. 

During the second night of her Las Vegas stop, Swift also performed White Horse from her Fearless album for the first time since 2018 during the Surprise Songs section.
