Summer House star Lindsay Hubbard is ‘devastated’ over shock split with Carl Radke and was ‘blindsided’ when he broke off their engagement

Summer House star Lindsay Hubbard is having a very difficult time after her shocking split with her fiancé, Carl Radke. 

The reality TV personality, 37, is ‘devastated’ and feels ‘blindsided’ by the actor, 38, after he told her he ‘couldn’t move forward with their wedding’ just three months ahead of their planned nuptials. 

‘It’s all so raw,’ a source told Us Weekly on Thursday after the news broke on the same day — about two weeks after Hubbard threw her bridal shower. ‘The dust hasn’t settled with it yet.’

The insider also confirmed that he ended their one-year engagement as they were filming and it was ‘so mean’ for him to do that in such a public manner.

The insider also confirmed that production for the upcoming eighth season of Summer House had already wrapped but now they are ‘picking it back up’. 

‘He did call off the wedding on camera,’ the insider said. ‘A normal person who loves someone wouldn’t break up with someone they love on camera.’ 

The source added, ‘No matter how many problems you may have, you don’t do something like that on camera for the world to see their reaction.’ 

Despite the shocking split, they did suggest that they ‘might get back together tomorrow’.

Just four days ago in the Hamptons, the couple ‘seemed fine’, according to a report by Page Six.

A source revealed that they had seen Lindsay and Carl ‘dancing next to each other’ as they partied with the rest of their castmates at the Surf Lodge in Montauk on Sunday. 

However, another insider told the publication that the pair ‘are usually all over each other, and it didn’t look like that on Sunday’.

Less than a week after the spotting, news broke that the pair reportedly called off their engagement ahead of their wedding in November.

According to Entertainment Tonight, Carl informed Lindsay that he was unable to ‘move forward with the wedding’.

The publication also confirmed that their split was filmed on camera and will likely air on the next season of Summer House. 

‘Carl Radke and Lindsay Hubbard have called off their engagement. The two were set to get married in November, but Carl told Lindsay he couldn’t move forward with the wedding,’ a source told the site. ‘The breakup was filmed and will most likely play out on the next season of Summer House,’ the insider continued.

The couple were set to walk down the aisle in less than three months. The reported split comes just two weeks after Lindsay celebrated their upcoming nuptials at a lavish bridal shower attended by Carl. 

Carl made a surprise appearance at the end of the shower, and Lindsay shared snaps of her former fiance arriving to the restaurant with a bouquet of roses. 

‘Carlito showed up and surprised me at the end!’ she captioned the post, along with several lovey-dovey emojis. 

Carl also shared snaps from the festivities, along with the gushing caption, ‘You are going to make such a beautiful bride.’ 

The garden-party themed bash was held at the Cathedrale at Moxy East Village in New York City.

Speaking with People, Lindsay said of the party: ‘I have such an amazing group of girlfriends that were not going to let me get away without having a bridal shower.’

According to their Honeyfund page, the couple were set to tie the knot on November 17, 2023.

Lindsay and Carl became engaged on August 27, 2022 at Dune Beach in Southhampton.

They first met in 2016 during season one of Summer House but were dating other people at the time. 

They started dating in summer 2019 before quickly going their separate ways

‘Our expectations were not aligned, which is where it all went wrong.’

‘He owned his s**t and we have both moved on. It took some time and you will continue to see this play out of course,’ she said.
