Sarah Jessica Parker says she ‘loves’ Sex And The City co-star John Corbett who returns in And Just Like That…: ‘It’s great to be in his company again’

Sarah Jessica Parker had nothing but tender words regarding her reunion with Sex and the City co-star John Corbett in And Just Like That’s second season. 

Per an interview with People Magazine, the 58-year-old Sex and the City star gushed that, ‘It’s great to be in [John’s] company again.’

‘I’ve been pretty public about how much I love him and how easy he is to work with,’ Sarah added. 

Sex and the City fans were ecstatic when news broke that John would be reprising his role as Carrie Bradshaw’s second great love, Aidan Shaw, in And Just Like That season two. 

The Emmy Award-winning actress teased that Carrie spends ‘the back end’ of the season in Aidan’s company.

Introduced in Sex and the City’s third season as the antithesis of Mr. Big (played by Chris Noth), Aidan acted as Carrie’s conscience, persuading her to quit smoking and attempting to encourage her to embrace a more consistent love.

While Big could never quite commit to Carrie the way she wanted, Aidan was ready to settle down with Carrie.

However, Carrie’s own commitment issues played a role in the demise of her relationship with Aidan.

She cheated on him with Big, but then Aidan decided to give Carrie a second chance after she pleaded with him to give their relationship another go. 

Ironically, Aidan’s proposal spelled the end of his relationship with Carrie, who wouldn’t even wear his engagement ring around her finger. 

While Carrie and Aidan shared a scandalous kiss in Sex and the City 2 while they were both married to other people, that was the last fans saw of Carrie’s second greatest love. 

Now with Big killed off, and the first two episodes of And Just Like That season two dropping on Max on Thursday, June 22, the highly-anticipated Carrie/Aidan reunion is nigh.

Naturally, plot details regarding the couple’s And Just Like That season two storyline have been kept tightly under wraps.

While the woman behind Carrie Bradshaw had nothing but loving words to say regarding her reunion with her 6’5 leading man, Sarah also spoke to John’s work ethic on set.

‘He always just makes Aidan grow from the page in a way that only he can do,’ Sarah said. 

Regarding filming scenes together again as Carrie and Aidan, the actress and entrepreneur said, ‘It just felt really comfortable and happy.’

‘I think the story’s great,’ Sarah added, the only thing she’d reveal about her opinion on Carrie’s storyline with Aidan. 

The first two episodes of And Just Like That season two drop on Max on Thursday, June 22.
