Reese Witherspoon and Kevin Costner are not dating – after wild romance rumors between the newly-divorced stars began swirling.
Speculation around the Legally Blonde star, 47, who split from Jim Toth in April and the Yellowstone actor, 68, who finalized his divorce from Christine Baumgartner last month – began swirling online after Costner was seen buying gifts for a woman last month – with fans questioning whether they were for Reese.
One fan wrote: ‘Reese witherspoon is dating Kevin Costner!!!!’ while a second typed: ‘Everybody needs love! Why not Reese Witherspoon and Kevin Costner?’
Another penned: ‘So there’s rumors of Kevin Costner and Reese Witherspoon dating?! She’s 47, he’s what, 68ish? Those two? Really?’
However Reese’s representative told PageSix: ‘This story is completely fabricated and not true.’

Adding fuel to the fire, podcast host Rob Shuter also launched a poll captioned: ‘Kevin Costner is rumored to be romancing Reese Witherspoon. Do you love this new couple?’
In August Reese settled her divorce from Toth, just four months after filing the paperwork to end their 12-year marriage.
The Academy Award winner and the CAA talent agent, 53, have both signed a marital dissolution agreement according to TMZ.
The actress and the producer — who was recently spotted on romantic holiday with a new woman — also signed off on a parenting plan for their 10-year-old son Tennessee James.
The Legally Blonde star officially filed for divorce from Toth back in April, a week after announcing the end of their marriage. She cited irreconcilable differences as the reason behind their split in court documents.
This is Reese’s second divorce. She previously split from Ryan Phillippe, 48, in 2008 after a seven-year marriage and two kids: daughter Ava, 23, and son Deacon, 19.
While Kevin split from his 49-year-old wife Christine in May 2023 after 18 years of marriage.
And they have been working for months on splitting up their property and money.

In September, they finally settled the divorce after a long and very public battle.
A joint statement from Costner and Baumgartner provided to DailyMail.com at the time of the settlement read: ‘Kevin and Christine Costner have come to an amicable and mutually agreed upon resolution of all issues pertaining to their divorce proceedings.’
Kevin and Christine, a model and handbag designer, began dating in 1998 and married at his Aspen ranch in 2004.
The pair have three children, Cayden, 16, Hayes, 15, and Grace, 13.
He already had kid Annie, 39, Lily, 37, Joe, 35, and Lima, 27, with his first wife Cindy.
The settlement is likely to be similar to the one previously offered by Kevin in a letter sent on June 30 which would have paid her $75,000-a-month in child support.
The mom-of-three rejected that after enjoying a temporary monthly payment of $129,000 and had wanted it bumped to $161,000.

Instead, after a two-day hearing in September in which both Kevin and Christine took the stand to testify, a judge ordered Kevin to pay $63,000-a-month for their three children.
According to the terms of the settlement, if Christine challenges the judgment ‘she would have to repay Kevin more than $1million and pay his attorney’s fees for the prenup fight.’
Upon hearing this, she ‘agreed to the terms of a 3-page settlement letter.’
Although the prenup is enforceable, Christine got more than what was prescribed in the agreement.
Christine had vowed to fight it out in court with a trial due to take place in December, which will no longer happen.
