Raquel Leviss called out Andy Cohen for claiming that she was ‘heavily medicated’ while filming the season 10 Vanderpump Rules reunion, which was taped in March.
While appearing on the Just B podcast with Bethenny Frankel, the reality star, 28, admitted she was hurt by the 52-year-old Bravo host’s recent interview with Variety, in which he chalked up her lack of emotion during the three-part special to either being ‘really medicated or really out of touch with her role in’ the Scandoval drama.
‘To say that I must be heavily medicated because my behavior was erratic or I did not have emotions is not okay in my eyes,’ Leviss told listeners.
She continued: ‘I feel like that violates some sort of HIPAA law. And to make assumptions like that, it’s damaging to a person.’
HIPAA, short for the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act, applies to healthcare professionals.

The federal law was created to protect patients’ medical records from being disclosed without their consent or knowledge.
The former pageant queen, who graduated from Sonoma State University in 2018, went on to reveal that she did begin taking medication ‘around the time’ she joined the cast of Vanderpump Rules in 2015.
Leviss proceeded to confirm that she is ‘medicated’ and has ‘been on antidepressants for several years now.’
‘I mean, I know that that’s a private piece of information,’ Frankel replied. ‘Whether it was true or not — or speculation — I just don’t know where the line is.’
The the Real Housewives of New York City alum also pointed out that Leviss’ costars even threw around a ‘pill bottle’ at the reunion and asked each other if anyone wanted ‘a Xanax.’
‘This is effectively — it’s a non-traditional workplace, but I would imagine there are even some workplace rules in a strip club — it is still a workplace,’ the mom-of-one pointed out.
Cohen made the comment about Leviss’ state of mind while saying he ‘was worried’ for her ‘mental health going into the reunion’ amid heated backlash over her affair with Tom Sandoval, behind his longtime girlfriend Ariana Madix’s back.

‘I was worried for Raquel’s mental health going into the reunion. I mean, I still am. But actually, when I saw how unemotional she was, it made me think she was really medicated or really out of touch with her role in everything,’ he told Variety in June.
He also pointed out how bizarre it was to watch Leviss’ former pal, Scheana Shay, sob over the end of their end friendship while Leviss did not outwardly express any sadness.
‘When Scheana is crying her eyes out and [Raquel] says in the trailer, ‘I should have written her a note’ — I found that very confusing and it made me think that, maybe, there was something she was missing about what these relationships were,’ he said.
The father-of-two continued: ‘It made me think that, maybe, she didn’t think they were as real as the other people thought. I didn’t understand.’

Still, Cohen described that former Miss Sonoma County, who has a bachelor’s degree in kinesiology, as ‘very leveled.’
Just weeks later, he apologized for guessing that she had been ‘really medicated.’
‘I think it was, maybe, wrong of me to speculate on that. But to me, she sat there [and] she took it all on the chin like a champ,’ he said on SiriusXM’s Radio Andy show. ‘Those people all had stuff to say to her and they were relentless and she just sat there and took it.’
He added: ‘I didn’t know that she would be able to [get through the reunion] which is probably why I hypothesized [that]. Given my years of experience in these forums, I would’ve thought that she would’ve walked off way sooner and, maybe, walked into her car, never to have been seen again.’
