Lisa Marie Presley’s daughter Riley Keough looked somber on Thursday as she was spotted out after her mother’s cause of death was revealed.
The actress — who recently nabbed an Emmy nomination — was casually dressed in a white tank top and blue and white striped pants.
Riley appeared makeup-free with her ginger hair down and a pair of yellow-framed shades over her eyes. She carried her belongings in a yellow tote bag.
She was stopping by the Brentwood Country Mart for groceries.
Lisa Marie — who is the daughter of Elvis Presley — passed away in hospital on January 12 after repeatedly going into cardiac arrest.
Less than 24 hours prior to her hospitalization, she attended the Golden Globes with Riley and her mother Priscilla Presley to support actor Austin Butler, who was nominated for his Elvis portrayal in Baz Luhrmann’s 2022 biopic.
And six months later, it’s now been revealed that Lisa Marie died of a complication caused by a previous weight-loss surgery. Opioids were also found in her blood.

The L.A. County Coroner report stated that the star died from sequelae (a condition which is the consequence of a previous disease or injury) of small bowel obstruction.
The bowel obstruction was in the form of strangulated small bowel, caused by adhesions that developed after bariatric surgery (stomach stapling) many years prior.
The toxicology results also show Lisa had ‘therapeutic’ levels of Oxycodone in her blood, with a second opioid Buprenorphine – which is used to treat opioid dependence – also found.
There were also traces of Quetiapine, an antipsychotic drug, reports TMZ.
The coroner states there was no ‘drug paraphernalia or narcotics’ found at her home and her urine toxicology screen was negative.
The report confirms Lisa had a cosmetic procedure a few months before her death and was prescribed opioids, with the star having a history of ‘overmedicating’ – forgetting she had taken her medication and then taking them again.
The reports also states the star had a ‘history of alcohol and drug abuse.’
Days after her mother’s January 12 death, Riley took to Instagram to share a throwback photo of herself and Lisa from her childhood.
She only put a red heart emoji in the caption.
This past Mother’s Day, the actress — whose father is musician Danny Keough — expressed her gratitude for Lisa in a touching post.

‘Lucky to have had the best and most deeply loving mama I could have asked for,’ captioned Riley, who shared a photo of Lisa cradling her as an infant beside Danny.
More recently, Riley admitted that she ‘misses’ her mother as well as her brother Benjamin Keough while honoring the three-year anniversary of his untimely death.
‘Missing you both,’ wrote Riley, who shared a sepia-toned snap of a young Benjamin making funny faces with Lisa Marie.
He was just 27-years-old when he took his life inside Lisa Marie’s Calabasas home in July 2020. It was reported that Benjamin died of a self-inflicted shotgun wound.
His close pal Brandon Howard spoke to PEOPLE shortly after his death, telling the outlet that Benjamin ‘struggled with depression’ and that the COVID-9 lockdown may have exacerbated the issue.
Along with Benjamin and Riley, Lisa also has 14-year-old twin daughters Harper and Finley with ex-husband Michael Lockwood. They divorced in 2016.
On the same day she published her tribute to Lisa and Benjamin, Riley learned that she had been nominated for an Emmy for her work in the Hulu series Daisy Jones & the Six.
She is up for lead actress in a limited/anthology series/movie and will go head-to-head with the likes of Beef’s Ali Wong and George & Tammy’s Jessica Chastain.
In a statement to E! News, the eldest daughter of Lisa Marie said that she was ‘surprised’ by the recognition.
She added: ‘I’m feeling really grateful and just blessed and honored.’
On her Instagram Story, Riley also wrote that she was ‘feeling very blessed’ and thanked the Television Academy.

Along with Riley’s first-ever nom for her titular role, the 10-episode series landed eight more nominations, including the coveted limited/anthology series category.
Daisy Jones & the Six – based on Taylor Jenkins Reid’s 2019 novel – is centered on a seventies rock band, which more than strongly resembles Fleetwood Mac.
It also stars Leonardo DiCaprio’s ex-girlfriend Camila Morrone, English model/actress Suki Waterhouse and British hunk Sam Claflin, among others.
The 75th Primetime Emmy Awards is scheduled to air September 18 on Fox despite the ongoing SAG-AFTRA and WGA strikes.
