Olivia Wilde stuns in a plunging black dress under a long coat to a Yves Saint Laurent fashion show in Paris

Olivia Wilde oozed sophistication in a low-cut suede dress at the Yves Saint Laurent womenswear fall/winter 2023-2024 show during Paris Fashion Week.

As walked the red carpet ahead of the runway show on Tuesday, the House actress, 38, cut a stylish figure in a long structured black coat over her sexy ensemble with a plunging neckline. 

The mother-of-two completed her look with a pair of leather heels and her light brown hair styled in beachy waves. 

Later, she posed with her hands buried in her pockets and oversized shades as she prepared to get a first look at luxury fashion house’s upcoming collection.

Despite earning a reputation as a style icon over the years, the Booksmart director previously joked that she is ‘still pretending to be a teenager from the early aughts’ when it comes to how she typically dresses. 

‘My most comfortable state is when I’m wearing low-rise jeans, sneakers, and a sweatshirt,’ she told InStyle in 2020. ‘In that, I am unstoppable.’

She explained: ‘And if I’m in a high-waist jean, I can’t let my gut expand.’ 

Her latest sighting comes after an insider informed People that Olivia ‘is in a great place’ and has managed to stay ‘good friends’ with her ex-boyfriend Harry Styles.

Olivia and Harry broke up in November shortly after the release of their film Don’t Worry Darling, which she directed with him as the leading man.

Their romance led to a storm of publicity in the run-up to the movie’s release last September, whereupon the film became a massive hit.

Olivia’s romance with Harry ran alongside her explosive custody battle with her ex-fiancé Jason Sudeikis over their children Otis, eight, and Daisy, six.

Now a source has said: ‘She’s focused on her kids and co-parenting with Jason. She and Harry are good friends, there’s no animosity whatsoever. Plus she’s got many different directing projects in the works.’

Olivia also appeared to be on good terms with Jason at the end of January, when the pair were spotted sharing a hug in Los Angeles.

However just a few days later TMZ reported that Olivia and Jason were locked in a rancorous legal battle involving child support.

During the time that Olivia and Harry were involved, she and Jason waged an acrimonious custody battle over Daisy and Otis.

Their spat involved where the children would live full-time, with Olivia wanting to eventually relocate them to London, where Harry lives.

The tension occasionally spilled out into public view, most infamously last April when Olivia was approached by a process server while she was onstage discussing Don’t Worry Darling in front of 4,100 entertainment executives.

In legal filings exclusively obtained by DailyMail.com, Olivia claimed: ‘Jason’s actions were clearly intended to threaten me and catch me off guard.’

Jason however maintained he meant for Olivia to be served at Heathrow Airport and insisted he was ‘very, very sorry that the incident marred her special moment.’

Harry and Olivia became public as a couple in January 2021, two months after she and Jason reputedly ended their engagement.

Despite being bashed by the critics to the tune of 38% on Rotten Tomatoes, the movie soared to the top of the box office upon its release.

The film’s triumph came on a wave of publicity after a press tour where Olivia was buffeted by one controversy after another – not least involving her controversial workplace romance with her much younger employee.

There were also reports she fell out with her leading lady Florence Pugh, who was allegedly angered by Olivia’s relationship getting in the way of making the movie.

A report in Page Six claimed Florence took issue with Olivia for supposedly taking up with Harry while still engaged to Jason Sudeikis.

Olivia meanwhile has staunchly denied cheating on Jason with Harry and has slammed rumors of her infidelity as ‘complete horses***.’

More recently an on set source dished to Vulture that Florence and Olivia erupted into a ‘screaming match’ during the shoot because the director had a tendency to ‘just disappear’ with Harry.

Another one of Don’t Worry Darling’s scandals involved Shia LaBeouf, who was supposed to be the leading man of the film before Harry took over. 

Olivia initially claimed that she fired Shia because of her ‘no a**hole policy,’ saying is process was ‘not conducive to the ethos that I demand in my productions.’

Shia, who is currently being accused of abuse by his ex-girlfriend FKA Twigs, shot back by declaring that he quit because of a ‘lack of rehearsal time.’

He addressed his side of the story by leaking an email he sent Olivia – as well as video footage of her trying to persuade him not to leave the movie.

‘I feel like I’m not ready to give up on this yet, and I, too, am heartbroken and I want to figure this out,’ the director said in the video. 

‘You know, I think this might be a bit of a wake-up call for Miss Flo, and I want to know if you’re open to giving this a shot with me, with us,’ Olivia added. 

Olivia then appeared on Stephen Colbert’s show and doubled down on her claim that she fired Shia, saying he forced her to choose between him and Florence.
