Nikki Bella shares a sweet kiss with husband Artem Chigvintsev before detailing the stress of planning their wedding in just four weeks on GMA

Nikki Bella and her husband Artem Chigvintsev, who wed in August, shared a sweet kiss outside of the Good Morning America studios in Times Square on Wednesday. 

The WWE superstar, 39, and Dancing With the Stars alum, 40, looked smitten as they prepared to promote their upcoming four-part docuseries, Nikki Bella Says I Do, on ABC’s Emmy-winning morning news program.

For her appearance, the reality star looked radiant in a black mesh midi dress, a silver purse in the shape of an engagement ring and bright red lipstick. 

Before heading inside, she sported an elegant camel coat, which she styled with a pair of black leather heels. 

Her dark brunette hair was pulled up in a romantic updo, meanwhile her man cut a dapper figure in a long black jacket, matching turtleneck and loafers.

During their chat with Michael Strahan, the lovebirds discussed how their new show would documenting how they pulled off planning a wedding in just four weeks.

When asked why they didn’t give themselves any ‘wiggle room’ with such a short timeline to plan, Bella admitted it was her idea and that Chigvintsev didn’t have ‘much of a choice.’

‘I thought it was a really good idea,’ she said. ‘I thought you could totally plan a wedding in four weeks. I mean, you just call up a cater, and I don’t know a cake person… I was totally wrong.’

She continued: ‘It’s not easy.’

Chigvintsev said he tried to ‘stay away’ from the planning and let his spouse and her ‘sidekick’ and identical twin sister Brie Bella be in control. 

Still, the mother-of-one playfully called out her man for being a bit of a ‘diva’ and ‘groomzilla.’ 

‘I had my veil on, and I just sipped my champagne and let him throw his fit for an hour and a half,’ she recalled of their big day. ‘I didn’t know, he left the venue! I didn’t think he was going to come back. And, I can’t wait for the world to see why he left.’

She then quipped: ‘Happy wife, happy life.’

Chigvintsev then spoke about his parents, who reside in Russia, were unable to come. 

‘It was just impossible,’ he said, before revealing his mother and father watched from Zoom.

In addition to only giving themselves about a month to plan the entire ceremony, The Total Bellas star opted to make things a little more difficult by choosing to have a destination wedding in Paris, France. 

Nikki also spoke about why their son, Matteo, two, did not make it down the aisle to serve as their ring bearer.  

To her dismay, her tot ended up throwing up ‘all over’ his white suit.
