Meghan Trainor and Daryl Sabara reveal the sex of their second child with help from son Riley, 2… after revealing they got intimate THREE times a day to get pregnant

Meghan Trainor and husband Daryl Sabara stopped by the Kelly Clarkson Show on Tuesday and revealed the sex of their unborn second child. 

The 29-year-old singer-songwriter and her 30-year-old spouse are expecting another boy, and their 2-year-old son Riley helped relay the news.

The All About That Bass hitmaker shared a snippet from the segment on Instagram and captioned, ‘IT’S HAPPENING.’

Trainor recalled excitedly in the clip, ‘We revealed our first [gender reveal] on your show!’

Host Kelly replied coyly, ‘I know! So I was wondering if you’d do it again.’ 

Both Meghan and Daryl, along with the studio audience, were shown a video recording of their firstborn child doing his best to say, ‘It’s a boy!’

The pop star announced she and her beau were expecting back in January via a social media post.

She uploaded a photo of herself holding ultrasound photos and wrote in the caption, ‘BABY #2 COMING THIS SUMMER @darylsabara.’

Also this week, the bubbly star shared that she had sex ‘three times a day’ when she was trying to get pregnant.

When she first learned she was expecting, the blonde beauty thought she was going to have twins.

After making the confession in her new pregnancy self-help book Dear Future Mama, she told ET Canada : ‘Immediately, I thought I was having twin girls.

‘I thought I was a month behind, so when I took my blood my numbers were huge because I was further along and I kept Googling it. It said it was twins for sure.

‘This one, I was like freezing, nations. And I was like. “She’s ripping me apart, it must be two twins!”

‘It was the time though [to do it often], it was COVID. We were like. “Is the world ever gonna open up again? What should we do? Are you bored?!”

‘It wasn’t romantic and fun. I was like. “It’s now!” and that’s why I’m trying to help everyone else out then and tell them they don’t have to make it a job.’

The Made You Look singer discusses the birth of her son Riley, whom she welcomed via C-section in 2021, in her new literary effort.

The Massachusetts-born star revealed she was diagnosed with Post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) following her son’s delivery.

After Riley was born he had to be rushed to the NICU, where he spent several days as he struggled with breathing issues. Meanwhile, Trainor was left behind as she had to be stitched up on the surgical table.

The hospital scenario began to give her nightmares after she returned home. ‘I couldn’t go to sleep at night. I would be in tears and tell Daryl, “I’m still on that table, dude. I’m trapped there. I can’t remind myself I’m in bed and I’m safe at home,”‘ she told People.
