Megan Fox and Machine Gun Kelly have ‘HALTED’ wedding plans amid reconciliation with pals saying she’s ‘making him work for it’ – as rocker is pictured carrying a talking stick

Megan Fox and Machine Gun Kelly aren’t tying the knot anytime soon as the pair have reportedly ‘halted’ their wedding plans while they ‘slowly’ reconcile.

The on-again couple recently attended the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue launch party – making their first public appearance together since the alleged breakdown of their relationship.

And the Bloody Valentine rocker seems to be working on his communication skills, since MGK left his Manhattan hotel on Friday with what appeared to be a talking stick.

With his wet pink hair wrapped in a white towel turban, the former rapper clutched a bizarre wooden stick and strolled onto the sidewalk for everyone to witness.

The stunt comes after sources told PEOPLE that the Jennifer’s Body bombshell, 37, isn’t making it easy for MGK, 33.

‘He’s doing whatever he can to get her back, and she’s making him work for it,’ an insider revealed. 

‘They are slowly working on reconciling but he’s totally in the dog house still,’ added the source.

The couple’s inner circle is allegedly not placing their bets on success when it comes to Fox and MGK making it to the alter. 

‘It’s still an unhealthy dynamic though,’ said the insider, ‘and their friends just don’t see this lasting.’

But alas, hope remains: ‘He has a lot of proving himself to do, and he doesn’t want to give her up. He is great with her kids and super hands on. It’s a work in progress.’

The couple did not walk the red carpet together at the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit bash, but they were captured having a sweet moment in the wings. 

It’s been rumored in recent months that the sex symbol’s engagement with Kelly was on the rocks following allegations that the rapper-turned-rocker had been unfaithful.

They were last spotted together in photos obtained by DailyMail.com early last month as they vacationed in Hawaii.

A source dished at the time that although they had endured a ‘rocky patch’ in their whirlwind romance, Megan and MGK are ‘officially back on’ and ‘feel more connected than ever.’

The pair began dating in May 2020 following Megan’s shock split from her husband of 10-years and the father of her three children, Brian Austin Green. MGK proposed to the Transformers star the following January.

They met on Randall Emmett’s box office bomb, Midnight in the Switchgrass, and the pair gushed about each other when they sat down with the disgraced director and his then-fiancee Lala Kent for a 2020 episode of their podcast Give Them Lala … With Randall. 

Megan declared: ‘I knew right away that he was what I call a twin flame. Instead of a soul mate, a twin flame is actually where a soul has ascended into a high enough level that it can be split into two different bodies at the same time. So we’re actually two halves of the same soul, I think.’
