Lindsay Lohan is PREGNANT! Mean Girls star, 36, reveals she is expecting first child with husband Bader Shammas: ‘We’re looking forward to this next chapter of our lives!’

Lindsay Lohan shared some very big news on Tuesday morning.

The Mean Girls actress’ rep revealed to DailyMail.com that she is pregnant with her first child with husband of almost one year, Bader Shammas.

The 36-year-old said, ‘We are very excited for our new family member to arrive and we are looking forward to this next chapter of our lives!’

The last time she was photographed was on February 9 at the Christian Siriano runway show in NYC. At the time, the Parent Trap actress wore loose clothing that hid her tummy.

Her last few Instagram posts have been neck and up as she has been not showing her midsection as to keep her pregnancy a secret.

Lohan and Shammas tied the knot in July 2022 after announcing their engagement in November 2021.

Lindsay moved to Dubai in 2014 to protect her privacy, but still travels to the US for work. 

Parenthood seems to have been on the Herbie: Fully Loaded star’s mind for many years. 

In 2016 Lohan told Vanity Fair that she wanted to be a mother one day.

The subject came up when she said in the next decade she wanted to be busy ‘making more films, writing my book, starting my charity, working with children a lot.’

‘I am more likely to adopt a child first.’

This happy news comes not long after her former friend Paris Hilton – whom she partied with in the 2000s – announced she had welcomed her first baby.

The DJ, 42, announced in January that she welcomed a son named Phoenix via surrogate with husband Carter Reum.

In January Lohan took to social media to share how happy she was with her life.

Lohan gave her more than 12 million followers an update on her ‘beautiful’ life while answering questions from her younger self.

In a sweet video the actress revealed that she overcame childhood insecurities, is still ‘silly’ and is happier than ever.

‘Conversations with Little Me,’ the star captioned the recording, which included unseen photos from her childhood and with husband  Shammas.

In response to whether she is ‘still smiling,’ the Hollywood alum gushed: ‘Life is beautiful & I’m so grateful for my husband, family & everything life brings.’ 

When asked about whether she ‘loves’ her freckles, performer, who recently made her Hollywood comeback with the holiday film Falling for Christmas after a nearly decade-long break from acting, gave an honest answer.

She also stated that she dances ‘to celebrate life’ and is both a ‘mommy & daddy’s girl’

‘They used to make me uncomfortable as a kid, but now I realize how beautiful they are,’ Lohan wrote.

Additionally, the natural redhead proclaimed her love for fiery tresses and made sure to note that she has not lost her passion for dressing up and being ‘girly.’

She also stated that she dances ‘to celebrate life’ and is both a ‘mommy & daddy’s girl.’ 

As for her relationship to her siblings, Cody, 26, Aliana, 29, and Michael Lohan Jr., 35, Lindsay described them as her ‘best friends.’

‘We love to laugh & spend time together!’ she captioned a photo of them at her latest movie premiere for Falling for Christmas. 

Her post comes weeks after calling her spouse ‘amazing’ and ‘calm’ during an interview with Cosmopolitan. 

‘Well, I have an amazing husband, who’s a very calm person. Just the best. And my family,’ she told the outlet.

Lohan continued: ‘And I feel like I have a small group of good friends who are just really good people. That’s the only support that I really need: friends, family and loved ones.’ 

Discussing her upcoming leading role, she said: ‘It was really comforting to me, when I got the script, to see a movie that was a romcom because it’s always fun to work on something lighthearted and family-oriented that makes people happy and provides a bit of an escape.

‘And I was excited… to do something with Netflix, which is a big family in a way. It was the right fit for me, especially to be able to executive produce it.’

Lindsay, who shot to stardom thanks to her parts as twins Annie and Hallie in The Parent Trap, went on to speak about her ‘evolving career.’ 

She said: ‘It comes very naturally to me to play a role, especially in a romantic comedy, so it doesn’t always feel like work. But when you really look at the character and how much more you can give people on-screen through the character’s eyes, there’s so much to play with and change.

‘With this movie [Falling for Christmas], I specifically wanted to do more physical comedy…And I was like, ‘We’re here, why not? I’m willing to do it.’ I think the bigger you go in those situations, the better it is. You can’t be afraid of it.’

In the film, Lindsay stars as an heiress who loses her memory after a skiing accident and finds herself in the care of a handsome lodge owner and his daughter.

She also talked Bader. ‘I am stunned that this is my husband. My life and my everything. Every woman should feel like this everyday.’
