Katie Holmes looks casual chic in a puffy quilted jacket as she enjoys a walk in New York City with her daughter Suri Cruise
Katie Holmes continued her winning streak of casual-chic ensembles on Wednesday when she was spotted out in New York City with her daughter Suri Cruise.
The 44-year-old Dawson’s Creek star opted for a more sustainable look, as she re-wore a jacket and hat that she was previously seen out and about in last week.
She rocked an eye-catching olive-colored puffy jacket with a quilted design to star warm in the chilly metropolis.
Meanwhile, her 16-year-old daughter, whom she shares with Tom Cruise, also stuck with a relaxed look.
Katie left her jacket unbuttoned and appeared to have on a white T-shirt underneath it, and she stuck to the low-key theme with baggy gray Alo sweatpants.

Katie stayed comfortable in a pair of white-and-tan moccasin-like trainers, and she wore an expansive navy blue baseball cap over her long brunette hair, which appeared to be wet.
She completed her look with a brown handbag.
Both Katie and Suri appeared to be having a great time as they went for their stroll, and they could be seen grinning ear to ear.
Suri was covered up in a gray hoodie for the New York–based Catholic university Fordham, which she wore with relaxed-fit jeans and red, white and blue sneakers.
She styled her dark hair down and had a tote bag for the popular bookstore The Stand.
Katie recently revealed to Variety that she and her teenage daughter bonded by watching old Dawson’s Creek episodes that she starred in.
According to her, the two delved through some of the back episodes at the height of the ongoing coronavirus pandemic, though she stressed that she didn’t force Suri into it.
‘She has seen Dawson’s Creek and I think it’s probably weird since she’s a teenager,’ she explained. ‘I’m not like, “You need to watch mommy’s work.” But during the pandemic, we had a good laugh about it.’
The activity underscored just how much Suri has grown up.

Blast from the past: Katie shared to Variety recently that she and Suri watched some of her old Dawson’s Creek episodes at the height of the ongoing pandemic. ‘We had a good laugh about it,’ she said; publicity still for Dawson’s Creek
‘It’s wild to have a daughter who’s almost the same age as I was when I began all this,’ Katie mused.
Her outing with Suri comes amid a busy time for Katie, as she is currently starring in the off-Broadway play The Wanderers, while she is preparing for the release of her third directorial effort, Rare Objects.
The film stars American Rust actor Julia Mayorga as a young woman working in an antiques shop in New York as she recovers from a traumatic event, while Katie also appears in the movie as a troubled socialite who bonds with the young woman after they meet while being treated in a mental institution.
Rare Objects will be released in select theaters and for on-demand streaming starting on April 14.
