Kaia Gerber steps out fresh faced in Los Angeles… after her supermodel mom, Cindy Crawford said she has a ‘good head on her shoulders’

Kaia Gerber was spotted looking fresh-faced in Los Angeles on Saturday.

The 21-year-old supermodel wore a black sweatshirt, matching joggers, and Adidas trainers and appeared to have just finished a workout.

The daughter of supermodel Cindy Crawford and Rande Gerber carried her cell phone and a large water bottle. She also had a blue tote bag over her shoulder.

The star styled her brunette locks in a ponytail and appeared makeup-free.

The runway star’s sighting comes after she enjoyed a PDA moment with her boyfriend, Austin Butler, at the Time 100 Gala red carpet, where he was honored in late April.

Kaia chose a gray halter dress with a turtleneck and an open back that clung to her petite frame.

Austin, 31, looked dapper in a black suit and tie and posed lovingly with Kaia on the red carpet.

The duo were first linked in December 2021, and their relationship has been going strong since.

In March, Austin was seen exchanging numbers and chatting with Sharon Stone outside the Vanity Fair post-Oscars party when he narrowly missed an awkward encounter with his ex-girlfriend Vanessa Hudgens.

Vanessa was seen briefly looking at Austin before looking at her phone and avoiding any eye contact with him as she walked to a waiting car.

Austin saw Vanessa and watched her walk by before waving to fans and touching his heart. Austin and Vanessa dated for almost nine years – from September 2011 until January 2020.

At the time, a source told People: ‘They really loved each other and have been through some of their toughest life moments together. Busy work schedules and travel definitely put a strain on the relationship. They were a wonderful couple, and it’s really sad that it didn’t work out.’

During their relationship, Vanessa had supported Austin and his career, revealing in an interview in 2019 on Live With Kelly and Ryan that she gave him the idea to play Elvis and encouraged him to pursue a role with him as Elvis.

Last week, Kaia’s famous mother told People magazine that her daughter is juggling her career and private life very similar to how she did in the 1980s.

Cindy said one stark contrast to when she was coming up is the prominence of social media.  

The former Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue cover girl admitted she is also learning to navigate this day and age alongside her young daughter but is proud of how she has handled it.

She said: ‘I’m learning along with her about that stuff, but I feel like she seems like she has a very good head on her shoulders and is figuring out how she wants to create that private work-public balance.’
