John Boyega has admitted that he wants a relationship but simply hasn’t found the right person yet as he discussed his dating life.
The Star Wars actor, 31, said he is a big softie and told how he likes all of the love languages as he discussed his personal life in a candid interview with Esquire.
As well as opening up about his love life, John also showed off his trendy sense of style as he posed up a storm for a stylish photoshoot with the magazine.
When asked if he is naturally a ‘relationships’ person, John confessed that he isn’t but told how he would like to have a partner but simply hasn’t found the right person yet.
He told the publication: ‘I want a relationship, but I don’t fixate on it. I’m not opposed to it. I just haven’t met anyone that really ignites that in me.’

The Woman King star also opened up about his love language and confessed he has never understood people who pick just one, describing himself as a ‘softie’.
When asked what his love language is, he replied: ‘All of them. I’ve never understood there being a specific one.
‘I mean, who likes touch without getting a gift once in a while? Who likes words of affirmation from someone that doesn’t actually touch?
‘I’m willing to take as much as I can give. But, you know, I’m a softie. I’m chill. I’m spontaneous. And at the same time, I’m curious about people, so I create a space for honesty.’
After rising to global fame playing the role of Finn in Star Wars, John told how he likes to keep much of his life out of the public eye.
He admitted that although he gets ‘curious’ about other people, he doesn’t have an interest in their personal lives, only the work they are doing.
‘Most of my life is mysterious. Like, people do not know about me and how I roll, who I’m with, what I’m doing,’ he said.
‘I get curious about people ’cause of the work they do. Your private life, I’m not trying to get into that too though unless it’s some criminal c**p, like, “Oh, I didn’t know that person would do that”.

‘Who you’re dating and all that? I don’t have no interest. Also, I go, You don’t really care, though, innit? My mom and dad care about that.’
After finding success in the huge franchise Star Wars, John also addressed whether he was join the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
He told how he used to want to star in Black Panther but no longer thinks there is room for him to move into the franchise.
He admitted: ‘I don’t see a space there. Years and years ago, I used to want to be in Black Panther. They’ve got that handled.’
His latest interview comes after John spoke out about his unwell co-star Jamie Foxx amid his mystery health battle.
John, who stars alongside Jamie in new film They Cloned Tyrone, told last month how Jamie had ‘finally picked up the phone’ and is ‘doing well’.
John sparked concern earlier in June when he revealed he ‘hadn’t heard’ from the actor following his mystery medical emergency back in April.
But John later gave another update on Jamie, telling People: ‘He finally picked up the phone. Thank you, bro. He’s doing well. And then, you know, we just giving him the privacy, and we can’t wait for his return.
‘I gave him the well wishes directly. I gave him all the well wishes. So I’m just gonna be waiting until he comes back out here. So take your time, Jamie. We love you, bro.’
It came weeks after John had said ‘no one has heard from’ Jamie since he was hospitalised for a mystery medical emergency in early April this year.
‘No one has heard from Jamie,’ Boyega told Entertainment Tonight.

Jamie was filming the action-comedy Back In Action with Cameron Diaz in Atlanta, Georgia, in April when he was admitted to hospital.
The actor has been treated at a facility in Chicago, which specialises in treatment for adults with ‘severe complex conditions’, including stroke recovery – although it has not been revealed what condition he is suffering from.
And over the weekend, Jamie threw a party to celebrate regaining health since his undisclosed medical emergency in April.
Many of his loved ones gathered at the rehabilitation facility in Chicago that he has been attending on an outpatient basis to cheer him on amid his ongoing recovery period.
