Jodie Comer and Will & Grace star Sean Hayes turn up the star wattage at Outer Critics Circle Awards in NYC
The Last Duel star Jodie Comer stood out in a colorful ensemble as she hit the red carpet at the Outer Critics Circle Awards in New York this Thursday.
Also attending the event was Will & Grace star Sean Hayes. The 52-year-old, who achieved national fame on the sitcom as the flamboyant goofball Jack McFarland, cut an elegant figure at the glittering affair.
The Outer Critics Circle Awards celebrate the 2022-2023 theatrical season in New York, and unlike the Tonys they honor off-Broadway as well as Broadway.Â
Jodie broke out with the Phoebe Waller-Bridge–created series Killing Eve and has only increased her profile since then.Â
She was fashion forward at the awards show, which she attended in a pale yellow top left half-open to reveal her high-waisted matching slacks.

There she is: The Last Duel star Jodie Comer led a claque of celebrities who hit the red carpet at the Outer Critics Circle Awards in New York this Thursday

Will & Grace star: Also making a splash on the red carpet was the TV star Sean Hayes
Letting her blonde hair tumble over her shoulders in soft waves, Jodie sharpened her screen siren features with makeup including a slick of dark lipstick.
She was on hand to get Outstanding Solo Performance for Prima Facie, in a role she originated in London before bringing it to Broadway.
Jodie won an Olivier Award in the UK for the one-woman show, and is now nominated for a Tony Award for the same part.
Sean opted for classic chic in a charcoal suit worn over an immaculate white dress shirt and a silver and royal purple tie.Â
The TV star, who has been married to Will & Grace composer Scott Icenogle since 2014, attended the fete stag at the New York Public Library’s Bruno Walter Auditorium.Â
Sean is being garlanded with Outstanding Lead Performer in a Broadway Play for his work in Good Night, Oscar.
Written by the Pulitzer Prize winner Doug Wright, the play stars Sean as the celebrated 20th century American pianist, actor and wit Oscar Levant.
Oscar became as famous for his acerbic talk-show appearances as his musical career, and the new play follows a 1958 episode of The Jack Paar Show that he appeared on.

Musical theater actress Bonnie Milligan, whose work also includes the sitcom Search Party starring Alia Shawkat, made her presence felt in a summery floral frock.
At the moment she is up for a Tony Award for best featured actress in a musical via Kimberly Akimbo, a show adapted from a play of the same name.Â
Honorees at the Outer Critics Circle Awards include Jonathan Groff, whose Broadway bona fides include the original casts of Spring Awakening and Hamilton.
This Thursday he is getting Outstanding Lead Performer in an Off-Broadway Musical for a revival of Stephen Sondheim and George Furth’s Merrily We Roll Along.Â
