Jessica Simpson, 42, shares ultra-glam selfie as she stuns fans with youthful appearance – after showing off her trimmed down figure

Jessica Simpson stunned her fanbase on Tuesday by sharing an ultra-glam, extreme close-up selfie that made her look younger than ever.

The 42-year-old star appeared to have a full face of makeup on and flawless looking complexion in the sultry self-portrait, pouting her lips as she looked directly to the camera.

‘Somedays ya just have to feel your intention and let it shine,’ the former pop star wrote in the caption alongside the snap. 

The striking image comes as the singer-turned-clothes designer has been showing off her trimmed down figure – after famously losing 100lb. 

She also impressed fans recently by rocking her iconic Daisy Dukes while promoting her new Spring/Summer clothing campaign in images shared to her Instagram last week.

Taking inspiration from her 2005 remake of The Dukes of Hazzard, the singer turned clothes designer, 42, created her own version of her onscreen character’s trademark pants.  

The I Wanna Love You Forever hitmaker paired the tiny denim shorts with a Western-style belt and an off-shoulder white top, and was pictured taking a call in an old-school phone booth.

‘If you were stranded in the middle of nowhere and had one phone call, who would you call?’ read the caption from the star, who was spotted wearing a daring ensemble while in New York earlier in the day. 

‘This @jessicasimpsonstyle Spring/Summer Campaign is filled with cinematic romance to inspire what’s possible,’ she added. 

Simpson’s tresses were styled in delicate waves, and she accessorized with a number of gold and turquoise jewelry pieces.

The blonde bombshell added height to the look with a pair of open-toe brown heels.

She rocked gentle glam, featuring pink lipstick and bronze eyeshadow. 

Her 6.2M fans were thrilled with the snaps, with one writing: ‘Dukes of Hazzard!!’

Another humorously added, ‘I’m calling 1-800-JESSICA cuz all these posts are giving me the will to LIVE.’

Simpson is currently in New York City with her husband Eric Johnson, 43, and has been spotted in a number of sizzling outfits showing off her trim frame.

The Texas-born star dropped over 100 pounds in 2019 – after welcoming her third child Birdie Mae – and has successfully kept the weight off for nearly four years. 

But Simpson’s loved ones are said to be ‘extremely worried’ about her shrinking frame, according to a recent report by RadarOnline, and believe that the drastic weight loss ‘doesn’t seem healthy.’

Insiders claimed that the star has continued to lose even more weight in recent months.

‘Her clothes hang off her and her cheeks are sunken. She doesn’t even look like herself anymore. Jessica’s naturally curvy. It doesn’t seem healthy for her to be so thin,’ the source stated.

In September, Simpson addressed her 100lb weight loss, which she achieved in 2019 after having her three children; Maxwell, Ace and Birdie.

Simpson revealed she weighed 260lb at 5-foot-4 during her pregnancy, which was ‘heavier than my husband who played in the NFL.’

The star revealed to Extra’s Terri Seymour that what really helped her slim down was changing her menu.

‘I went to a nutritionist, and I needed to get my eating habits right,’ she said. When asked if she feels ‘healthy,’ the siren said: ‘I absolutely feel healthy.’

She added, ‘I don’t know. I feel like my old self before I had children and all the hormones going wild.

‘I feel younger, actually. I have a lot more energy and yeah, I get to wear all the clothes that are in storage that I saved for Maxwell and Birdie. Maybe Birdie will outgrow them because Maxwell has already outgrown me!’

Terri asked, ‘Why are people obsessed with your weight and how you look? Have you gotten used to it?’

‘Oh, gosh, no,’ she said. ‘Would any woman?’ And she added sometimes the insults get to her.

Jessica said, ‘I’ve been criticized, and it hurts, but I’ve been every weight and I’ve been proud of it. I decided, “Okay, everybody is going to talk about my weight all the time, I might as well make money off of it and turn it into a business of selling clothes and acceptance.”‘

At the time she also shared she was on Harley Pasternak’s Body Reset Diet plan, which includes three meals a day to ‘keep the metabolism humming’ as well as smoothies and snacks.
