Jennifer Lopez looks comfortably chic in an oversized cream set as she enjoys lunch with daughter Emme, 15, at Mauro’s Cafe in Los Angeles

Jennifer Lopez opted for comfort as she stepped out for lunch at Mauro’s Cafe in Los Angeles on Tuesday with her daughter Emme. 

The Hustlers star, 53 — who was recently slammed for ‘awkward’ video about her drinking habits — wore a stylish oversized cream set and a matching fedora hat for the outing. 

The Let’s Get Loud hitmaker rounded out her look with a pair of glittering classic work boots and rose-tinted sunglasses.

She also sported a number of gold accessories, including a chunky necklace and hoop earrings. 

Meanwhile 15-year-old Emme rocked a trendy Hannibal t-shirt with light-wash denim jeans and black sneakers.

Lopez shares Emme and her twin Max with her ex-husband Marc Anthony, 54, whom she was married to from 2004 until 2014.

She is also stepmom to her current husband Ben Affleck’s, 50, three children with his ex-wife Jennifer Garner, 51: daughters Violet, 17, and Seraphina, 14, and son Samuel, 11. 

The Batman star was married to the 13 Going on 30 actress from 2005 until 2018. 

Meanwhile Lopez and Affleck originally got engaged in 2003, but their relationship came to an end in January 2004, before they rekindled their romance in 2021, after 17 years apart.

The pair married last year at a wedding chapel in Las Vegas before holding a lavish ceremony at Ben’s Georgia estate in August.

Days ago Lopez was criticized by fans online after she posted a video plugging her alcohol brand Delola, following husband’s struggles with alcohol.

In the clip, the star defended herself against critics who blasted her choice to create a line of spritzers despite previously saying she doesn’t drink.

‘So I’m on my way to sneak out to go and get some Delola,’ Jennifer began in the video.

‘We have a few people coming over for the holiday weekend and I realized that we don’t have any. I thought we would but we don’t. So I’m gonna go to the store and get some, hopefully they have it there,’ she laughed.

‘I know that a lot of people have been talking about like, “Oh she doesn’t even drink, what’s she doing with a cocktail?” And to tell you the truth, that was true for a long time, I didn’t drink,’ she explained.

‘A few years back, as you will see from several photos of me out over the past 10, maybe 15 years, I have been having the occasional cocktail,’ she added.

‘I do enjoy the occasional cocktail. I do drink responsibly, I don’t drink to get s***-faced.

‘I drink to be social and to have a nice time and just kind of relax and to let loose a little bit, but always responsibly,’ she emphasized.

‘I have to tell you, I tried a lot of different things, cocktails, I was into White Russians at one point, I was into rosé, but I never found anything that I really loved. And so like anything else in my life, I created it myself,’ Jennifer gushed.

Jenny From The Block then filmed herself going into a local liquor store and finding bottles of Delola.

Some of Jennifer’s Instagram followers were not impressed with the video due to the fact that her husband is sober.

Taking to the comments section, one person wrote: ‘So awkward when she talks about drinking responsibly and not getting s***-faced knowing her husband [suffered] from alcoholism for years.’

Another person said: ‘I’m just confused about her talking about alcohol and cocktails when her husband is an alcoholic… who is allegedly in recovery? Makes no sense at all and I find it very difficult to understand.’

Ben has been in rehab a few times over the years and has been open about his struggles with alcoholism.

He received residential treatment for addiction in 2001 and maintained his sobriety for a ‘couple of years’ afterward. In subsequent years, he refused to discuss his alcoholism in detail and later described it as a period where he ‘drank relatively normally.’

The Good Will Hunting actor returned to residential treatment in 2017 and, following a publicly documented relapse and intervention, again in 2018.

Ben received further outpatient treatment over the following year, but in late 2019 he was filmed him stumbling on a Los Angeles street.

He acknowledged the following day that he had a brief ‘slip’ after more than a year of sobriety and later described the incident as ’embarrassing.’

Meanwhile, Jennifer previously told InStyle that she believes alcohol ‘ruins your skin.’

Speaking to UsWeekly in 2016, Jennifer cited her alcohol-free lifestyle as one of the ultimate secrets to looking so young: ‘I don’t drink or smoke or have caffeine. That really wrecks your skin as you get older.’
