‘I feel so blessed to be with such an incredible husband’: Britney Spears and her spouse Sam Asghari kiss passionately amid united front following reports of turbulence in their marriage

Britney Spears called her husband Sam Asghari an inspiration in a social media post Wednesday on the heels of reports the couple has had some turbulence in their marriage as they approach their one-year-wedding anniversary.

The Grammy-winning singer, 41, and her husband, 29, were seen in an Instagram clip taken outside of the home they share in Southern California, hugging and kissing one another.

‘I feel so blessed to be with such an incredible husband who inspires me everyday,’ said the Oops!…I Did It Again artist alongside the passionate display.

In the clip, Spears donned a red puffy sleeved floral top with white denim shorts and reflective sunglasses. She had her wavy blonde locks down and parted, and wore a pendant on the sunny spring day.

Asghari wore a light denim blue top over a gray shirt with off-white pants and purple-grey sneakers. 

In the caption of the post, the …Baby One More Time artist also said that while she’s ‘pretty modest about’ her home – which she’s redesigning – she’s especially proud of her flowers.

The Hold Me Closer singer wrapped up the post in saying, ‘Have a brilliant day my friends and Godspeed.’

The pair was together amid a DailyMail.com exclusive report that they are dealing with marital strife due to Sam’s intense focus on his burgeoning film career, as she feels he is ‘putting his work before her.’

A source close to the duo said that the Toxic singer is growing increasingly annoyed at Sam’s busy work schedule, particularly because it means that she is frequently left at home alone while he travels for jobs.

‘Sam has been out of town a lot because he has been on location filming outside of L.A. and it does cause issues because Britney does not like being alone,’ the insider told DailyMail.com.

The Till The World Ends artist ‘also thinks that Sam has been putting his movie career first,’ which causes some resentment, as while she is ‘supportive of his career … a part of her feels like she is the reason that his career took off in the first place.’

However, while the insider conceded that the couple is going through some ‘major issues’, they were quick to deny recent allegations that Britney has gotten ‘physical’ during some of their fights.

The pair are doing everything they can to overcome this hurdle in their relationship, even undergoing ‘invaluable’ marriage counseling, the insider said.

‘Britney has never gotten physically violent with Sam. She is not a violent person,’ the source stated. ‘They are not headed for a divorce and their marriage is not in deep trouble.

‘They are doing marriage counseling together and find this to be invaluable to working out anything. Sam knows what she went through more than anyone and isn’t going to jump ship. He knows how lucky he is and how good he has it.’

Allegations about so-called ‘physical’ fights between the pair were aired in a sensational TMZ documentary, in which it was claimed that security has been forced to step in and break up several ‘screaming matches’ between the two. 

Britney and Sam started dating in 2016. at the time, she was locked in a 13-year conservatorship by her dad, Jamie Spears, 70.

In  November 2021, an L.A. judge terminated the cruel conservatorship, giving Britney control over her life and her finances – something that she did not have up until that point. 

The ending of Britney’s conservatorship, which she plans to discuss at great lengths in her upcoming autobiography, caused irreparable damage to her relationships with all immediate family members, including her dad Jamie, mom Lynne Spears, 68,  and sister Jamie Lynn Spears, 32.

But she has not been without family, as she has become very close to her new mother-in-law, Fatima, as well as Sam’s sisters, Fay and Maddie, who have been outspoken about their love for Sam’s wife.

TMZ announced the launch of its documentary hours before the film premiered – prompting furious backlash from Sam.  

The actor went on Instagram live shortly after learning about the film, which he branded ‘disgusting’. 

In the emotional video, he said, ‘I found it absolutely disgusting for the people who were in her life when she didn’t have a voice, they went and told her story like it was theirs.

‘All of a sudden—after 15 years when she’s free after all those gaslighting, all those things that went down—now you’re going to put her under a microscope and tell her story?’

The source tells DailyMail.com that ‘Sam does not want Britney to watch the documentary,’ but adds that it may be impossible to keep her from doing so.

On March 31, rumors erupted that Britney and Sam’s marriage was on the rocks when they were spotted without their wedding rings.

At the time, Britney was on vacation with her manager Cade Hudson in Mexico. Some assumed that this was a romantic relationship, but this would be impossible for a number of reasons.

Sam and Britney quickly dispelled the rumors and a source revealed that Britney was on a getaway with Cade while Sam was filming outside of Los Angeles.

One week prior, Sam told a TMZ reporter that he was shooting a top-secret film that is going to be his directorial debut.

The videographer asked Sam if he would like to star opposite his wife in an upcoming ‘rom-com.’

‘I hope so, I hope so, I think she’s a great actress’ Sam gushed. ‘I hope one day that’ll be a dream come true.’

He also hinted at maybe writing the perfect script for him and Britney himself.

In November 2021, Sam shared a photo with Mel Gibson, who he met through Britney, on the set of a film that he was cast in.

Sam’s desire to break into Hollywood was no secret though. After meeting Britney when he was cast in her Slumber Party music video, Sam started getting consistent parts in films and television shows.

‘I’m doing a lot of MMA training, I’m doing a lot of gun and stunt training to be a well-rounded actor such as Tom Cruise.’

Before marrying Sam, Britney was married to Kevin Federline from 2004 to 2007. 

They share two songs, Sean Preston, 16, and Jayden James, 15, who do not currently have any contact with their mom.
