It comes after last month it was revealed that Jennie is supporting her former co-star and rival Shannen Doherty as she battles her recently revealed brain cancer.
DailyMail.com caught up with the actress on a grocery run in Los Angeles. Asked if she is supporting Doherty, Garth replied: ‘Obviously. Whatever she needs.’
The pair were known to butt heads while starring on the 90s teen drama, and in August 2019 Garth revealed the tension was so severe they almost got into a physical fight on set.
The rumor mill started churning again in March when some fans called out Garth for supposedly leaving Doherty out of social media posts when they both attended 90s Con earlier this year.
But it appears Garth is willing to put the feud behind them after Doherty revealed recently that her breast cancer has spread to her brain.
Recently her former co-star Doherty shared more insight into her ongoing cancer battle.
She uploaded a video to social media and wrote, ‘January 16, 2023. Surgery. I had a tumor in my head they wanted to remove and also biopsy. I am clearly trying to be brave but I am petrified.’
Difficult: Doherty and Garth were known to butt heads while starring on the 90s TV teen drama, and in August 2019 Garth, 51, revealed the tension was so severe they almost got into a physical fight on set
Doherty was shown in a hospital bed, wearing a gown and cap over her hair, appearing to be in good spirits before being put under anesthesia.
Her caption went on to say, ‘This is what cancer can look like.’
She wrote, ‘The fear was overwhelming to me. Scared of all possible bad outcomes, worried about leaving my mom and how that would impact her. Worried that I would come out of surgery not me anymore.’
It comes after the actress had a CT scan done on January 5 that revealed cancer cells had spread from her breasts to her brain — known as ‘brain metastases.’
According to the Mayo Clinic, breast cancer is likely to lead to brain metastases which could cause a tumor or tumors in the brain.
Back in March, Doherty and Garth posed for a rare photo together with Tori Spelling, Jason Priestley and Ian Ziering at 90s Con.
Garth gave fans behind-the-scenes glimpse at her reunion with several of her former cast mates by posting photos on social media.
She captioned her post: ‘It was more like Friends Con Loved seeing some familiar and friendly faces this weekend.’
But fans noticed that notably absent from the slew of photos was Doherty, despite being at the event.

Several hours later, the What I Like About You actress added another comment to her post to defend herself against accusations of a feud with Doherty. But that was made worse when she twice misspelled Doherty’s first name.
‘ok. everyone needs to take a deep breath… 1. i simply didn’t have a picture of me with shannon on my phone to add. 2. i didn’t have access to a shannon banner backstage. Like there wasn’t one lying in the pile.
‘3. we had almost completely diff schedules so sadly we barely saw each other. 4. stop making assumptions when you have absolutely no idea what you are talking about. 5. please stop reaching to paint such a negative narrative. here and everywhere,’ Garth wrote.
She later posted a group photo with the cast – and included Doherty.
