Gisele is every inch the 90s siren in a tweed Chanel minidress at the Met Gala’s afterparty after her solo red carpet appearance following Tom Brady divorce

Gisele Bundchen turned heads as she strutted into the Met Gala’s afterparty at Zero Bond in a tweed Chanel minidress on Monday. 

The supermodel, 42, had changed out her white panelled gown and into the LBD to let her hair down at the star-studded bash which saw the likes of Kendall Jenner and Rita Ora attend. 

It marks an exciting new chapter for Gisele who has attended the event alone for the first time in 17 years, following her divorce from Tom Brady, 45. 

Gisele looked every inch the 90s siren as she flaunted her famous pins in the thigh-skimming mini – a nod to this year’s Met Gala theme, Karl Lagerfeld. 

The runway queen shrugged a long black wool coat over her shoulders and complemented the look with opaque tights and black strappy heels.

Gisele appeared in her element, making the sidewalk a catwalk as she strutted into the venue in front of a flock of photographers who had gathered outside. 

The supermodel made show-stopping return to the Met Gala as she hit the red carpet solo for the first time in 17 years. 

Gisele dazzled in a white vintage Chanel gown from a shoot she did with event muse Karl Lagerfeld.

The glittering white gown boasted white strips over a sheer base, which flashed the star’s toned legs and enviable frame.

Hearkening back to her Victoria’s Secret Angel days, the dress was paired with a striking white feathered cape and skyscraper heels.

Her tresses were styled in soft waves and she sported a radiant palette of make-up for her first red carpet since her split from Tom. 

The 2023 Met Gala returned to the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York City, with everyone from Kim Kardashian to Paris Hilton attending the fundraising event.

Since 1948, stars have ascended the majestic staircase into a very exclusive party where no selfies are allowed.

In keeping with tradition, the event was held on the first Monday of May.

The ball’s theme was Karl Lagerfeld: A Line of Beauty. The late German designer was Chanel’s long-time creative director. He passed at age 85 in 2019.

His beloved cat, Choupette, was even invited to the festivities. 

The supermodel and the NFL superstar confirmed their split on October 28 following weeks of speculation – with Gisele now at the center of a swirl of rumours about the status of her relationship with hunky jiu-jitsu instructor Joaquim Valente.

Brady first retired in January 2022 while he was with the New England Patriots, but stayed away for a mere 40 days before announcing he would return to the Buccaneers for the 2022 season.

Gisele filed for divorce because she felt her partner ‘wasn’t as attentive as he should’ve been.’

‘That’s what [Gisele] wanted: to be heard. And he wasn’t hearing her,’ the insider noted to the site.

As Bundchen, a native of Brazil, raised their two children — the athlete was ‘busy following his passion.’Brady also shares 15-year-old son Jack with ex Bridget Moynahan.

Someone familiar with the quarterback dished: ‘When he’s in the middle of a season, [Brady] does what most NFL players do: live, breathe, eat and sleep football,’ adding: ‘Tom is more like that than anyone.’
