Cher, 76, and beau Alexander Edwards, 37, have met each other’s kids as he gushes that singer is ‘amazing’ with his toddler and calls her sons ‘my guys’

Cher’s age-gap romance with toyboy Alexander Edwards continues to heat up.

The music producer, 37, shared that he and the I Got You Babe hitmaker, 76 – who is 39 years his senior – have met each other’s children in a new interview with TMZ.

Edwards – who’s currently working on new music with the star – confirmed that he met Cher’s sons Chaz Bono, 54, and Elijah Blue Allman, 46, calling them ‘my guys.’ 

He also gushed that Cher is ‘amazing’ with his son Slash Electric, three, whom he shares with ex Amber Rose, 39.

When Edwards was asked what made him fall in love with the singing sensation, he replied: ‘Just Cher being Cher.’

Cher – who confirmed her romance with the producer back in November – shares Chaz with her late ex-husband singer Sonny Bono, who passed in 1998. The duo were married from 1964 until 1975.

She shares Elijah with her second late ex-husband Gregg Allman, whom she wed in 1975, and divorced in 1979.

Edwards did not answer whether him and Cher would consider having their own children together, and suggested that he is focused on raising his son Slash. 

‘You know right now I’m just focused on Slash, my son, and his brother Sebastian,’ he replied, referencing Amber’s other son, 10, whom she shares with ex Wiz Khalifa. 

Alexander and Rose split in 2021 after she accused him of cheating with 12 women, which he admitted to. However the two still maintain an amicable co-parenting relationship. 

During the interview with the photographer he was also asked about the ‘benefits of dating an older woman’ but declined to answer.

When asked about his possible wedding to the superstar – after he gifted her a diamond ring – he also did not give anything away.

He continued to remain mysterious when asked what Cher’s dream location for a wedding would be, answering: ‘Gotta wait and see.’

It comes after Cher recently revealed she’s working on two new albums with Alexander. 

The pop icon told E! at the Carol Burnett: 90 Years of Laughter + Love taping on March 2: ‘I’m going to England to make two albums. Some of the songs Alexander gave me, so I’m pretty excited about that.

‘He’s a producer and a writer and he does everything, so I’m happy about that.’

The Believe hitmaker also revealed she is planning to go on tour later this year, adding: ‘I’m trying to get myself in shape.’

Cher and Edwards were first linked in November of last year when they were spotted arriving at a celebrity hotspot for a tasty dinner while holding hands, sparking romance rumors.

After publicly confirming their romance that same month, the actress and singer, who is 39 years his senior, pushed away criticism geared towards their relationship.

A source told Us Weekly at the time, ‘Cher knows full well that there’s a lot of skepticism about this romance but she couldn’t care less.’

‘She’s reveling in the attention and saying that she and AE have something very special going on that’s made her feel more alive and sexier than ever.’

‘She’s always been drawn to younger guys, and this is by no means the first fun, no strings attached fling she’s had in recent years. The difference here is that this one feels special, which is why she felt confident to go public as a couple,’ the insider continued.

In December, she made a guest appearance on The Kelly Clarkson Show and discussed her romance with the music artist. 

She jokingly stated, ‘Well, on paper, it’s kind of ridiculous, but in real life, we get along great. He’s fabulous, and I don’t give men qualities that they don’t deserve, you know?’

‘But he’s very, very kind, he’s very smart, he’s very talented, and he’s really funny. And I think he’s quite handsome.’

The couple also rang in the New Year’s together, and in a cute snap, Cher flashed a stunning diamond ring that was gifted to her from Alexander, fueling engagement rumors.

Last month in February, the couple were spotted attending a pre-Grammy party together and a source opened up to People soon after.

‘They are very much in love,’ the insider informed the publication. ‘They held hands all night and were very lovey-dovey and kissing often.’

However, the source explained that, ‘They’re not talking marriage or anything like that, but they are exclusive and serious.’
