Chanel Iman gives birth! Supermodel welcomes baby girl with fiancé Davon Godchaux – as star reveals adorable name of her newborn third daughter

Chanel Iman is officially a mom of three as the star announced the birth of her baby daughter with  fiancé Davon Godchaux on Tuesday.

The supermodel, 32, who is already mother to two daughters with ex-husband Sterling Shepard, welcomed her first child with NFL star Godchaux, 28 and revealed her meaningful name.

The pair shared a post in hospital cradling their newborn daughter with the caption: ‘Capri Summer Godchaux. 09-19-2023.’

The pair memorably got engaged in Capri, Italy in May.

Announcing their engagement, Chanel wrote: ‘The blessings keep pouring. Grateful for this new chapter and soon to be married and a forever to go.’

‘One of the best gifts in life is a life time of adventures ! My soulmate, protector, backbone and best friend the best memories are yet to come ❤️Capri, Italy.’

He wrote on Instagram, ‘First of all, I can’t even lie I was nervous ahh hell, and I never thought I would be getting down on one knee but LOVE will make you do some amazing things in life! 

‘Chanel I love you so much and I wouldn’t have rather spend this moment with no one else by my side! From the moment we met I knew it was something about you and how much you value having a FAMILY that was really important to me! 

‘We are in this together and will always be, I love you from the bottom of my heart! My love, My fiancé, My everything!!❤️❤️ What does not kill us only makes us stronger!!’

It’s unclear when the couple began dating.  The went Instagram official at Coachella in 2022, when the cover model posted a snap of her new beau kissing her on the cheek.  The defensive tackle responded to the photo writing, ‘I love you ❤️.’

Chanel and Davon announced they were expecting a little girl in a gender reveal video shared on Instagram in early May.

Chanel has two daughters, Cali, four, and Cassie, three, from her marriage to New York Giants player Sterling Shepard, 30.

Chanel and Sterling married in 2018, but separated in 2021, citing irreconcilable differences. 

Their divorce was finalized just days before she and Davon announced they were expecting. 

The New England Patriot is dad to eight-year-old Davon II, from a former relationship.
