Bruise that girl: Madonna, 64, displays marks on her bare legs as she gears up for a grueling world tour
Madonna showed just how extreme her preparations are ahead of her upcoming world on Thursday.
The 64-year-old music legend shared a closeup with her 18.9 million followers highlighting bruises on her thighs.
She sported the bright red hair that she has worn in recent days, which she styled pin straight.
Madonna (born Madonna Ciccone) has lately been getting in plenty of exercise after she shared photos of herself getting boxing lessons from her boyfriend Josh Popper last week.
Fittingly, she also highlighted her ripped arms in her post on Thursday.

The Queen of Pop was dressed in a ragged black tank top with a red-and-white illustration stitched over the chest.
She paired her top with black stockings that reached up to her thighs.
The hitmaker contrasted the mostly black ensemble with a pair of scarlet booty shorts, which were ripped at the sides.
She completed her look with an angular set of black-framed glasses, and she had a chunky white belt strapped around her torso.
Another photo showed Madonna in profile but with her head cut off as she sat down.
Although she seemed relaxed, she could be seen holding a microphone as if she was still practicing.
Madonna’s celebration tour begins on July 15 with a sold-out Vancouver show, before snaking its way south through the western US.
She’ll spend October through early December traversing Europe, before heading back to North America.
Earlier this year, it was reported that Madonna’s biopic — titled Little Sparrow — had been scrapped following years of development.
In June of last year it was reported that Ozark star Julia Garner had been cast as the Material Girl, suggesting the production was closer to shooting than ever, but then it was reported in January that it had been put on the back burner.
But earlier this month, Madonna shared a photo of herself and Julia, playfully captioning it, ‘B**** we’re Madonna!’
The two had been attending the photographer Steven Klein’s 58th birthday, according to the New York Post.

‘I have a very long script that is really hard for me to make shorter,’ Madonna said last summer. ‘I’ve been whittling away at it, but it’s like hacking off my limbs.’
In August of last year, an anonymous tipster wrote in to the gossip site DeuxMoi claiming that the biopic was a ‘nightmare production’ due to the ‘script and constant changes.’
They added that it ‘might not happen’ at all because it was ‘costing a ton of money.’
