Britney Spears posts Valentine’s Day tribute to her husband Sam Asghari… after she slammed claims her loved ones tried to stage an intervention over fears she ‘might die’

Britney Spears posted a Valentine’s Day tribute to her husband Sam Asghari – nearly one week after slamming claims her loved ones tried to stage an intervention over fears she ‘might die.’

The troubled pop star, 41 – who recently danced in a strapless lime green mini dress to Salt-N-Pepa’s Push It – threw it back to a happy time as she shared a pair of pictures from their ‘Maui magic day!!!’

In the back-to-back images, Spears is seen gazing up at her trainer-turned-actor husband, 28, as he wore a nondescript expression.  

‘TB of Maui magic day!!!’ Britney declared in her caption. ‘I love you so much baby!!! Your B-day is coming soon!!!’

Asghari posted his own tribute to the songstress, sharing their wedding picture and a collection of sweet snippets.

‘Happy Valentine’s Day to my valentine,’ Sam captioned their black-and-white wedding picture, which shows him and Spears sharing a romantic kiss.

Taking to his Instagram Story, the aspiring action star recorded himself opening a Valentine’s Day card from the Hold Me Closer singer.

Sam told Britney ‘Thank you baby,’ and she cooed back ‘You’re welcome’ as he opened up her card. 

Britney’s card read: ‘You bring out the best in me, and because of you, I feel like anything is possible. I love you. Happy Valentine’s Day.’

Penning a handwritten message, Spears wrote: ‘I LOVE YOU HESAM. Love, Britney.’

Sam went on to post a snippet of the couple spending time with their two dogs on the grass in front of their enormous mansion. 

Britney did not physically appear in any of Sam’s videos, as only her voice could be heard in the background. 

The couple’s Valentine’s Day posts come after a report surfaced last week from TMZ that claimed the singer’s friends and family staged a failed intervention due to, ‘concerns she would die’ amid alleged mental health struggles.

Sources close to Britney’s family claimed they became alarmed by her ‘erratic’ and ‘volatile’ behavior due to taking medications that ‘hype her up’ and cause her to ‘fly off the handle.’

Several friends rented a house in Los Angeles for a few months – without Spears’ knowledge – to stage an intervention, with one source claiming, ‘I’m afraid she’s gonna die.’

After a manic episode at an L.A. restaurant last month, the Circus singer has allegedly turned ‘combative and chaotic.’ 

The intervention was supposed to take place at her house last Tuesday, with her husband, manager, doctors and an interventionist, as she was set to receive medical treatment and psychological counseling for two months.

However, Spears became, ‘somewhat aware’ of the plan and the intervention was canceled altogether.

A source added: ‘Britney has been acting increasingly erratically and those around her have grown more concerned. She is often up all night, sleeps during [the] day and has a lot of anger.’

Another source said: ‘Everyone had hoped Britney could be convinced to seek treatment before things got any worse but they knew it wouldn’t be easy.’ 

The insider explained that ‘she’s been going through a lot and has been increasingly combative,’ and said that Asghari ‘is being as supportive as possible.’

Spears lashed out at the claims she might die in an Instagram post, adding she might have to stop posting on social media.

‘It makes me sick to my stomach that it’s even legal for people to make up stories that I almost died… 

‘I mean at some point enough is enough !!! I’m probably going to have to stop posting on Instagram because even though I enjoy doing it, there’s obviously a lot of people who don’t wish me well !!!’

She went on to say: ‘I’m honestly not surprised at all … Again doing the best I can !!! Again, the conservatorship has been over for almost a year … No folks, it’s not 2007 … it’s 2023 and I’m making my first homemade lasagna at home !!! 

‘I finally got my fireplace to work in my living room !!! As my hubby says it best: don’t believe everything you read !!! All that love right back at ya !!!’ 

In another Instagram post, Spears blasted the reports once again and denied that she has a ‘management team’ or ‘medical doctors.’

Captioning an erratic video message, she wrote: ‘This week in the news it said that I almost died and that I have a manager and “doctors”!!! I don’t have a management team nor will I ever again in my life!!! I don’t have “medical doctors”!!!

‘I take Prozac for depression and that’s about it!!! I’m an extremely boring person!!!’
