The 50-year-old actor and filmmaker was spotted in Santa Monica with his 11-year-old son Samuel on Thursday.
The father and son were seen enjoying some Starbucks beverages and spending some time together.
Meanwhile, Ben’s ex and Samuel’s mother Jennifer Garner was also spotted out on Thursday, after a workout session.
Affleck was spotted out wearing a white t-shirt and a navy blue baseball hat for his production company, Artists Equity.

He also wore a light blue-grey puffer coat while sporting a salt and pepper beard for the outing.
The actor and filmmaker carried two Starbucks beverages and a small bag from the coffee shop.
Affleck completed his look with light blue jeans and rainbow-colored Nike sneakers for the afternoon outing.
His son Samuel was wearing a forest green polo shirt, navy blue sweats and light blue-green sneakers.
Affleck is coming off his new film Air, which chronicles a Nike salesman named Sonny Vaccaro (Matt Damon) landing Michael Jordan, with Affleck playing Nike co-founder Phil Knight.
During a rather candid interview with The Hollywood Reporter, Affleck also opened up about whether or not he’d be interested in directing a DC movie under the new regime headed up by James Gunn and Peter Safran.
‘I would not direct something for the (James) Gunn DC. Absolutely not,’ Affleck succinctly stated.

‘I have nothing against James Gunn. Nice guy, sure he’s going to do a great job. I just wouldn’t want to go in and direct in the way they’re doing that. I’m not interested in that,’ Affleck clarified.
It was revealed by TMZ on Wednesday that Affleck and Lopez both paid a whopping $60.85 million in cash for the magnificent 46,000 square-foot mansion.
The deal took just one week and the pair paid nearly $15 million under the $75 million asking price.
It first hit the market in 2018 for $135 million but that price was slashed nearly in half when it was re-listed this year.
The home — referred to as the ‘Wallingford estate’ — sits on a 5-acre promontory and boasts 12 bedrooms and 24 bathrooms.
The listing reveals that it was ‘newly rebuilt and expanded’ and features a 12-car garage and parking for 80.
There is also a ‘one-of-a-kind’ indoor sports complex, a 5,000 square-foot guest penthouse, a caretaker house and a two-bedroom guard house on the grounds.
With the indoor sports facility, Jennifer has a full gym at her disposal as well as courts for basketball, pickleball, and a boxing ring, plus a sports lounge and a bar.
The outlet reports that there is also a full hair and nail salon, a home theater, wine cellar, whiskey lounge, as well as sauna and massage rooms.
