Bachelorette star Joshua Tylerbest arrested and charged with ‘possession of child pornography’

Former Bachelorette Joshua Tylerbest has been arrested and charged with possessing child pornography.

The IT consultant, who was arrested last month in Miami, has been charged with 15 felony counts of possessing materials showing sexual performance by a child, TMZ reported. 

The former reality show contestant, 27, allegedly uploaded about 50 images and videos showing child abuse, according to TMZ.

There were allegedly 15 files on his iPhone containing child pornography and more on his other devices, the outlet said.

Some of the video footage confiscated was of children under 10 allegedly involved in graphic sex acts with adults.

The Florida native has plead not guilty, with his next court date on June 7. 2023, according to Page Six. 

After his arrest and charge, he was released on a $5,000 bond, per Us Weekly magazine.

A Google account registered to him was flagged to law enforcement after allegedly 50 images and videos showing child abuse were uploaded.

After a search warrant was secured, law enforcement found evidence he was interacting with the material.

They then searched his residence and reportedly found the files. 

He appeared on The Bachelorette in 2021 for Katie Thurston’s season.

Joshua was eliminated in week four during season 17.

His Instagram account has since been deleted. 

In his biography for his appearance on The Bachelorette, it read (via Us Weekly): ‘Josh loves hard and says there is really no other way to put it. He is humble, kind-hearted and goofy, but he’s a hopeless romantic who has always been very in touch with his emotions.’

Katie went on to get engaged with Blake Moynes during her season but the couple split soon after in October 2022.

In November 2022, she began dating a contestant she eliminated in week two – John Hersey – but they split in June 2022.
