Austin Butler and bikini-clad Kaia Gerber packing on the PDA on romantic getaway to Mexico following Elvis star’s loss at Oscars

Austin Butler might not have won an Oscar, but he seems to be doing just fine.

The Elvis leading man, 31, was seen on a romantic getaway to Los Cabos, Mexico earlier this week with girlfriend Kaia Gerber.

The getaway comes after Butler wrapped up a back-and-forth award season battle with The Whale star Brendan Fraser in which both were acclaimed for their respective performances, with the latter claiming the Best Actor Academy Award.

The Anaheim, California-born star and Gerber, the 21-year-old daughter of Cindy Crawford and Rande Gerber, were seen relaxing in bathing suits on long loungers while on the tropical getaway following months of Butler attending events in support of his performance in the film.

Butler – who was speaking in with a Memphis accent two years after filming the Baz Luhrmann biopic – was seen kissing Gerber in the picturesque waterfront locale.

Both the actor and the model appeared to have reading materials on hand during the daytime outing.   

Butler was clad in black sunglasses, while Gerber wore a brown tie-piece swimsuit. 

The duo was later seen traveling around the resort in a golf cart headed to an outdoor meal.

Butler, who played Manson family henchman Tex Watson in 2019’s Once Upon a Time in Hollywood, was clad in a white shirt with off-white pants and black sneakers with a black ballcap on the outing.  

The fashion model smiled as she wore black sunglasses with a patterned long-sleeved gown at the luxury resort.

The celebrity couple has been linked since they were seen in December of 2021 in Los Angeles at a yoga class with one another.

They have since been spotted at high-profile events including the Met Gala and the Cannes premiere of Elvis last May; and at the Vanity Fair Oscars Party earlier this month.

Gerber has past been romantically linked to actor Jacob Elordi and comedian Pete Davidson. Butler was past in a long-term relationship with actress Vanessa Hudgens from 2011 through 2020. Following that, he was linked to actresses Olivia DeJonge and Lily-Rose Depp.
