Anna Nicole Smith: You Don’t Know Me trailer: New documentary gives never-before-seen look at late Playboy pin-up’s tumultuous life including marriage to 89-year-old billionaire J. Howard Marshall

The trailer for the new documentary about the tumultuous life of late Playboy Playmate Anna Nicole Smith was released on Monday as it touches on several personal moments including her marriage to 89-year-old billionaire J. Howard Marshall.

The two-and-a-half minute clip – which boasts a never-before-seen look at the bombshell – promises a revealing look at her legacy.

Smith – born Vickie Lynn Hogan – had died of an accidental prescription drug overdose at just 39-years-old in February 2007. 

In the trailer there is an interview with the late model as she says: ‘I want lots of money to make my dreams come true.’

Shortly after one of those interviewed for the documentary says: ‘Then she met J. Howard Marshall and he’s a billionaire with a “B.”‘

There were sweet clips shown of their home life together including one of Smith behind the wheel of an ATV with Marshall behind her. 

Another commentator added: ‘What impressed me was how much they loved each other.’ 

Smith had met the petroleum tycoon Marshall while performing at a Houston strip club in October 1991 while she was 24 and he was 86.

The two enjoyed a two year affair where Marshall had reportedly lavished her with expensive gifts and asked the blonde bombshell’s hand in marriage on several occasions.

The two eventually wed on June 27, 1994 which led to speculation that Smith was only marrying him for money despite her insistence that she loved him and age did not matter to her.

However 13 months after their wedding day, Marshall died at the age of 90 on August 4, 1995. 

She was later involved in a very ugly court battle over his estate after his death as he had verbally promised her half of his estate which had consisted of 16percent of Koch Industries which was worth $1.6billion at the time. 

Smith was shown in court saying: ‘He was just a wonderful man that I loved deeply.’

Smith was just 39 when she died of an accidental prescription drug overdose in February 8, 2007 in a Hollywood, Florida hotel room.

She was survived by her daughter Dannielynn Birkhead, now 16.

Her son Daniel died in September 2006 at age 20 of an accidental drug overdose in the Bahamas just three days after Dannielynn was born.

Smith rose to fame as a nude model for Playboy then became a model for Guess. She also starred in movies such as Naked Gun 33 and Skyscraper.

She later starred in her own E! reality series The Anna Nicole Show.
