Anna ‘Delvey’ Sorokin Lands Her Own Reality Show—While She’s Under House Arrest

Anna Sorokin, the fake German heiress known as Anna Delvey who was convicted of fraud and was accused of scamming her way through elite New York City circles, will be the subject of a new reality show, which will be filmed while she’s on house arrest as her immigration case plays out.

Called Delvey’s Dinner Club, the series will film inside Sorokin’s East Village apartment—where she has been living since October, when she was released from Immigration and Customs Enforcement custody in New York— according to a press release.

Sorokin will host dinner parties at her home, where “actors, musicians, founders, socialites, journalists and other esteemed guests” will eat around “a private-chef catered table” for “candid conversations where no topic is off-limits,” and will also feature interviews with Sorokin and her guests.

Sorokin said she’s “grateful” to be able to “to bring my vision to a wider audience and share a glimpse of the real Anna Delvey.”

The series is being produced by Wheelhouse and Butternut, and it’s not clear how it will be distributed.

Sorokin cannot post on social media “either directly or by a third party” as part of her house arrest conditions.

Sorokin was convicted in 2019 of grand larceny, attempted grand larceny and theft of services, which she committed by acting as Anna Delvey, a German heiress with a $67 million trust fund, who was trying to start the Anna Delvey Foundation, an elite social club. She was sentenced to four to 12 years in prison, and was released in 2021—before she was arrested by ICE for overstaying her visa. She was ultimately granted house arrest after posting a $10,000 bond last fall, as she fights to stay in the U.S.

Sorokin was the subject of an immensely popular Netflix miniseries from Shonda Rhimes, Inventing Anna, which aired last year. Julia Garner won an Emmy for her portrayal of Sorokin. Sorokin sold her story to Netflix for over $300,000, and has since been selling her own artwork through Founders Art Club, and as of December had sold over $250,000 worth of pieces.
