Since late last year, Florida has seen a steady influx of nearly 1,000 Americans EACH DAY fleeing their liberal or blue states. In fact, I’m one of the 1,000 headed to Florida next month.
I’m running screaming from my blue state (Colorado), and I’m leaving my mask and the assholes that support lockdowns, forced vaccinations, face diapers, and non-stop isolation and quarantines behind. Well, I hope I am.
Flooding into Florida is former residents of New York, New Jersey, and Connecticut. Not to be outdone, California transplants started headed to Florida in 2020 from San Francisco. If you want to know how much damage Democratic Californians can do to a state, look no further than Colorado.
One of the most frustrating exercises is when these supporters of dirty face diapers and depression-inducing lockdowns decide to take a trip to Florida and then proceed to bitch about how many people are walking around without masks, aren’t social distancing, or have the nerve to sit at a bar and enjoy a drink next to another human being they don’t know.
I don’t think they have any right to enjoy the very freedoms that still exist in that state while shaking their fist at every soul that dares to cross paths with them without covering their mouth and nose. You made your bed, now lie in it with your face covered.
YOU HAVE NO RIGHT TO COME TO FLORIDA OR ANY STATE WITH FREEDOMS STILL IN PLACE. STAY HOME IN YOUR CRAPPY STATE.
My sentiments have been echoed across social media platforms such as GAB and Parler and even some law enforcement in the state. In fact, this is the very reason Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis had to put laws on the books so that Costco or the local coffee shop doesn’t have the right to force you to show your personal medical records to sit down and enjoy a latte.
I’d like to believe that the intentions of my fellow citizens are the same as mine and include the ability to exchange a smile with a person walking down the street, schools that remain open for our children, and restaurants and venues with a seat for everyone. But I’m then reminded of how the hell we got in this mess in the first place. It was the very compliance and enforcement of these lockdowns and masks that were carried out by Americans, not our tyrannical leaders.
Governor DeSantis is ahead of the curve and has been passing sensible laws to keep Florida red instead of purple or God-forbid, blue. One law I would like to suggest is a HEFTY fine those that harass others not wearing a mask or at least the ability to punch them in the face without a penalty……..cause remember, “we’re all in this together.”
