A Major Movement Started in May 2020
…And it wasn’t necessarily a good one. The concepts of rioting and demonstrations are not new. Still, they were dramatically amplified after the news that George Floyd had been “murdered” by Minneapolis police.
Mere hours later, the city of Minneapolis, along with major cities across the country–and perhaps even the world–flared with civil unrest, violence, looting, destruction, and all sorts of unsavory activities fueled by what major media sources attributed to the racial divide in this country.
But was it really?
From that fateful day in May 2020, eyewitness reports of Minneapolis citizens cited entire hotels being snatched up overnight by bands of unruly bikers—loose lips and raucous behavior to boot–who claimed they were here to bring the city down. When asked what had brought them to the city, many remarked, “We’re being paid to be here.”
Hmmmmm…….who’s stirring this particular batch of kool-aid?
Innocent citizens of major cities watched in horror as businesses were brought down, people were injured and killed, and despicable things were being done in the name of “anger and injustice.” City officials and political leaders told us that “this anger was justified, and that we need to give them a chance to air grievances and share their oppressed voices with us.”
I call horse manure on that one. Let’s just suppose for a minute that these people sporting black backpacks (that were incredibly stocked and well maintained, by the way) just happened to join in on the tearing up of our American cities; where were the police presences in these cities? Why didn’t state and local governments request national guard assistance almost immediately to shut them down? Instead, looting, fighting, rioting, robbery, assault, homicide, and arson were carried out night after night. At the same time, we as a society wondered who would come and save us from this “new normal”?
Problem-Reaction-Solution
One of the oldest tricks in the book comes courtesy from those world government institutions that maintain tight control over all; they offer us the “problem-reaction-solution” scenario. In this scenario, “they” create a problem by orchestrating all known parts to invoke a certain public opinion and certain outcry for justice. They then monitor our reactions to said problem, tweaking and polishing were necessary to make us “demand” the very restrictions or solutions that they wish to put in place. It was our idea, right? Surely if we the people scream loud enough, there will be policy changes, rule creation, and societal changes that pacify us once more and allow them to advance one step further in their creation of a world-class, truly restrictive and confining government. Bravo, guys; what a show. If I weren’t so ticked off, I might just grab the world’s largest bowl of popcorn to watch more drama unfold.
What if…
What if ANTIFA and Black Lives Matter advocates were paid to invoke civil unrest and violence that moved us toward greater restrictions? How about those that engaged in part of the public outcry toward these restrictions, getting on the bandwagon and allowing our “government” to come and save us once more? While not all BLM movements were encouraging more of a racial divide in the months following Floyd’s death, as a citizen of one of these great cities, I cannot tell you how much more acutely aware I was of the tensions that existed between subgroups, and how the problem was only exacerbated by this conflict.
Gotta love the hypocrisy
It’s my opinion that this rioting was pre-planned and that certain activist groups used it as a perfect springboard to advance a big government agenda toward greater restrictions, less freedom, and less opportunity for freedom of speech. Even the most peaceful protests are now regarded with much suspicion, and other riots are allowed to unfold unfettered and unrestricted, depending on how it serves the global good.
In our most public demonstration yet, the events at the nation’s Capitol on the 6th of January called to attention the hypocrisy that exists among those who closely monitor these events. Peaceful conservatives are being blamed, ostracized, shamed, fired, and asked to pay for crimes they did not commit. Their only “crime” was being in the wrong place at the wrong time, and now liberal-left media sources and big government officials could conveniently pin the desecration of “our public building” on those crazy conservatives. While it was shut down as quickly as it began, the long-reaching ripple effect for those affiliated with that historic event will likely continue to affect them and their families for years to come. Why is the leftist agenda being allowed to destroy our cities, and why do conservatives receive the ongoing backlash?
Where does this leave us?
As with all good and honest media, our job is to lay the facts before you and let you–the informed and educated reader–make the final decision on what conclusions you wish to draw. Do you believe everything you hear? Everything you read? Everything you are spoon-fed? Do you still believe in Santa Claus, or are you willing to put traditional ideas aside in favor of seeing the bigger picture? More importantly, what will you choose to do as you see more and more of your personal freedoms stripped away and the ability to speak out against injustices becomes more restricted? If you don’t stand up, who will?
